Actually - WoW - This really works for me.

The first two I thought of were...

Charlie - in - Two and Half Men.. (Charlie Sheen is a Virgo)

and..

Belle - in - Secret Diary of a Call Girl (played by Billie Piper.. who is also a Virgo!!)

I guess I like my Virgos on-screen haha

To the part about characters being given birthdays in movies/books. The shawshank redemption is one of my favorite movies and i had always guessed the main character,Andy, as a virgo. Sure enough i read the book recently and it mentioned andy celebrating his birthday with a bottle of liquor in early september, i was right.
