I don't support laws prohibiting the creation of deepfake images and videos of politicians or of anyone for that matter.

But I will support laws requiring that the images and videos be labelled as deepfakes when publishing them.

That is fair and reasonable (where there is a question). But political parodies are clearly fake--such as President Trump's face replacing the star of a movie's face.
