Hi, i'm a male sagittarius, moon on libra, rising on scorpio, 25 years old, lately my life had been soooo boring, I graduataed from college on august, and I'm still looking for a job, most of my friends are doing their own thing, and it's just all this "quarter-life crisis" and I feel this boredomness is killing me...

Now everything is so dull, I know it's a transition period until a get a decent job (economy's a ***** ), but in the meantime I'm lost, I have spent some days 80% indoors, just in my house, looking for a job and becoming insane around this 4 walls...

Top of all is this constant denial, I've always let myself see the positive side of things, maybe I'm about to crash I don't know... I'm just ranting...

Anyway, I just want some perspective and feedback here, or just a good ol' advice...

12th Planet,

You're a sag. Get outside and stop thinking so much.

You're probably suffering from some sort of cabin fever. 25 is too old to go through a crisis like that.

For what seemed like forever until last week, there was NO FIRE in the sky astrologically, other than the occasional moon that got snuffed out by all that airy water (steam)...Sadges, Leos and Aries were feeling really bummed out. Now Mars is in your sign, should bring a little more action, although probably you start to really feel more your Sag self when Venus is direct, and moves into Sag in a couple of months.

In the meantime--advice. Yes!! Definitely get outside. Hike. Go out into the woods alone and walk or run.

Go feed some goats! Or hang out with non-human animals somehow.

Decide that you don't have to decide yet about your future. Find something to laugh about. Live in the moment...and if it's really depressing, make the moment smaller. What's happening right now?

Make music (esp. if you are a 12th house person, as your name implies) and do some deep, mind-expanding reading.

It WILL be okay.

Gosh, you seem to be echoing the exact sentiments I have every other day..

I have cancer moon though to contend with and so I have gotten used to feeling like I can't go on. But I always know that its not forever though.

I've been in and out of odd jobs for about 2 years now. I have a degree but it seems nothing is coming alright and I've had to move back home to my parents' house.

I am sorry that you going through this but IT WILL PASS.

I had a mini quarter life crisis a few weeks ago (I'm a Libra Moon too). I understand. Life sucks right now. We're all poor and there are no job prospects. UGH

Thank you all for the kind replies-

@PlutoSquared: I've always looked at it as a phase, but patience has never been one of my virtues, I know i'm going trhough i just want to get over with it, and believe me I try my best to take things easy...

@Lucia23: I really have felt like unmotivated for some time now, I'm not really a depresive person, but lack of motivation it's getting the worst from me.. I do make music, I'm in a band but things are slow even in that field nowadays. I've never really been the time of person that goes around alone, don't know why, maybe a rely much of my fun on other people, I should go out and have fun with myself a bit more...

And yes, this whole era is being a ***** with some of us today, There are days that I'm literally ashamed of being human, there's so much wrong going around that it's frustrating, I guess that's what you get when you're constantly picturing an endless bliss...

@AscTaurus and @amowls* I hope my time invested on college wasn't a complete waste, I hope something better to come along...

I'm a Saggie too... I'm feeling the exact same thing... I'm hoping once some planets get into Sag things will start to transform (and hopefully I'll get a job too! lol)

Good luck!

Another unemployed Saggie here.

I just wanted to say that one of my favorite movie quotes is from 'The Weight of Water' and it goes..

"The best cure for melancholy is industry."

So, there is work to be done all the time, even though it isn't your actual paid job.

Throw yourself into cleaning and purging your home, garage, whatever.
Just work until you are bone tired, and it takes away the time you would spend dwelling on it.

Maybe go to the library and read until your eyes water.
Take long brisk walks. You never know, you may just run into a place putting up a "Now Hiring" sign, and you could of missed it by staying home.

Something has to shift to get out of depression.
The choice is yours to either WAIT for it to shift (which you said patience wasn't one of your finer qualities ) or go make it happen.

You will land on your feet, somehow I think you know and believe this to be true.

Best Wishes!

I was going to suggest Borders, this morning (or any busy bookstore where they serve food and drink), sit in their cafe and read for a while, or if you have a laptop, use it there.

Walks, cleaning, getting out of the house all help - although last week, coming back home brought it all back in on me (but tiredness will do that). Just do your best not to let it take any more of a hold.

Hey 12thPlanet, I'm a Libra Moon, Scorpio Ascendant aswell, but a Pisces Sun.

I've been really depressed lately aswell. last year I began living away from my mother, and experienced relative freedom which was great, but I couldn't get a job, so I went on welfare, which had me go to school (I'm 17, was 16 at the time), but that was just not what I wanted to do, so I didn't commit to it and failed utterly, and welfare threatens to cut off clients who fail at school, so who I was renting from decided to rent my room out to someone else, though as it turned out, welfare didn't cut me off, so I moved into my grandmother's dark dank isolating basement I couldn't stand up in, with a dysfunctional kitchen. Despite this I achieved some optimism by enrolling in an alternative school where I was doing well, until eventually the student body stopped accepting me and I withdrew completely, and stopped attending. So just recently I moved back to my mother's where I have no hope of doing anything really, and I just feel like this society has no helpful regard for my disposition, nor will it out of it's own initiative, while I can't initiate either while in this rut. On the other hand, I've really always been a depressed person. But perhaps the Libra Moon and Scorpio Rising allows you to fall to depression more easily than other Sagittarius Suns.

Valid scenarios as opposed to invalid scenarios - the wool is not pulled.

Valid seeking of support and ideas - as opposed to invalid scenarios that seek to distress and addle the members.

Its out of context. Of course we discuss genuine life trials and tribulations. I tire of the bogus ones and the sucking down of caring energies.

Cardinal Arbiter, you sound like you have had a difficult time of things - I feel for your situation, I hope you are going to be OK.

Cardinal Arbiter, I dropped out of high school when I was fifteen, due to constant bullying. I remember what happened in the week leading up to it, and then what happened on the last day: they were seeking to ruin me, and I had no idea why. So, I dropped out with my mother's support. I looked at that event astrologically, back in September. (I can't remember which thread, though - I think it was a thread about Uranus.)

Some flower essences can help, as well.

Pire I've felt a lift in mood when drinking vegetable juice. (Carrot, celery, lettuce...)

A teaspoon of Flax oil, mixed into oatmeal (with chopped banana and a little raw honey, and cinnamon). I've started that up again.

Cardinal Arb, I have a Libra Moon too.

I promise you much of this stuff falls away with age, not that you won't carry scars from it, because you might.
But never let others define your worth!
You are God's creature and you are here for a reason.

And I'll tell you an Honest To God Truth, those people that bully you (who do it because of their OWN issues) will one day be has beens when school is over and they have to function in the real world with real skills.

Wait till you go to a class reunion someday, you will laugh your a$$ off at Mr. and Miss popular from way back when, I know I did.

Anyway, it really is a conscious choice.
I know how hard it is.
But, after trying medicines and all kinds of stuff, I cured my own depression by just deciding I was sick of being depressed and each day, I tried to do ONE thing different.

Eventually EVERYTHING was different and I had a new life.

You have to shift your focus outward, not inward, and I know you are a very smart young man, and you can do it!

Thank you all, I've already set up my mind for a paradigm change, To be honest, I've always been fascinated by astrology but have known very little, I'm becoming aware of how all the planets effects over. I'm still learning, I just got an astrology birth chart and I'm slowly trying to figure it out.

Here's a link to it, http://is.gd/gOpzO in case you wanted to take a look and maybe give some light up to this newbie (i hope that's ok)

Anyways, I wish you all nothing but the best, you're all very kind people

I'd just like to say, 12thPlanet, that I had no intention of stealing your thread, and apologize. I'm not astrologically on my toes so to say, but googling how to read a chart followed by aspect and placement meanings should give you a simple understanding and a traction of interest, as it becomes evident how true astrology can be.

Regarding responses to my story, it's not like I'm unaware of the context of my problem, and the problem isn't exclusive to the context. My bottom line was not that I am weak and thus worthless. Everyone, bully and loner, are equal in potential only to vary by conditional disposition, and I am quite aware of this, and as such am not convinced by anyone's declaring I am less, at least theoretically, and most usually neither practically. In fact, it was the student body's inability to accept this that depressed me to the point I withdrew.

I had began school utilizing the lack of prejudice from the students to express myself confidently. This went well, and I was accepted for a while, until another student began attended part-way into the semester. She apparently assumed the generic highschool social heirarchy was in place since she could recognize what was, since she did not witness my introduction. So ultimately in a class discussion regarding whether a principle should be allowed to assume the role of a policeman in a particular context, I expressed I believed police should not exist, to which this particular girl protested that with the absence of police criminals would go about committing crime and that would be unacceptable, asserting that she believed that murderers and rapists were entities to be regarded with no attempt of understanding, to which I replied /people are all equal potentially and only vary by conditional disposition/, and as such, counseling is the means by which balance can be achieved between our unequal consciences, but the student body ignored this logic, disregarded me, worshiped this girl, and retracted to generic highschool hierarchy, so echoing this I felt overwhelmed by the great maladjustment I seek to balance quite evidently prevailing.

Welcome

From experience, the worst thing for a sag is to stay indoors.I understand that you are seeking employment yet you still need to try and keep a balance. You need to get out even if it's just for a walk.

Good luck and everything for the best.
