What makes a man cry?

When men cry do you find yourself crying too? And is it worse for you because you don't expect a man to cry? Do you find it sensitive and attractive or do you have mixed feelings about it?

Wondering because men I love are always criers. Only I can never tell if it's aimed at me, or just because they are hungry and cranky.

Have you ever watched someone cry and didn't know if was about you or not? Did you leave the room, or stay? I get this feeling it's hunger pains, or a headache, which makes me feel so silly.

" hungry and cranky "
I generally cry , or at least tear up, when someone is relating a story, or emotional. I sponge off them. But I notice, if it is a relationship talk kinda' cry.. like I have done something to elicit it, I will immediately cry with him.
But if it is a bad memory thing, or something he's working through, I honour it, as the man in my life doesn't generally cry for nothing... I stay emotionally strong to see him through it. The 'yang' to his 'yin', as a reversal. I fill the niche of his need.
Good question.
He's a sensitive soul, Aries Sun, Cappy Moon like me, Sag rising, Pisces Venus, Gemini Mars... etc.
He isn't afraid to show emotion, but I have seen him moved to tears on the event of sharing death he has experienced in the past, or currently, and at the birth of our daughter. And sometimes when he expresses how much he loves her, he gets 'glassy-eyed'. Too sweet.

i dont mind...i expect men to cry, as long as it isnt too much...i love machismo

my libra ex was deeeeeep though...but it was sooooo well hidden...even his bestest friend in the world...an overemotional aquarian... would remark that he was emotionally dead...go figure!

but he really felt things with me....always wanted to make things better for me and would cry with me...

i have no idea what his chart is...we're not in touch cos he hates me now...

When men cry I don't cry too, I just give them hugs till they feel better. I personally find it sensitive and attractive, I think in the sense that I feel they're more open with their emotions. but yeah, men I like are criers too usually, but not in front of me! Weird. but I know my Taurus ex cried a lot, he just somehow managed to keep his composure with me around.

Thank you Yang.

Moonbaby-

Your post sounded exactly like something one of my ex's from long ago would have written. She was a Cancer w/ a Libra moon. That's why I asked.

I'm a Libra w/ Scorpio moon.

We had problems because my sun sat on top of her pluto and saturn squaring off against her sun and mars... I figured that I acted as the spokesperson to her inner conflict. As if the pluto and saturn issues she had with herself were channeled through my sun and she used me as the living/breathing punching bag for her otherwise internal dilemma. She had major issues with her parents... especially her father who was also a Libra.

I wonder if you had similar problems if your mars acts as an apex for your sun/moon opposition... and his sun made a conjunction? Did he become the mars spokesperson to your conflict or did he have similar tough aspects in his own chart that you activated?

I'm with Yang - I think the last time I cried was when my dog died, and that was maybe five years ago. Otherwise, there just doesn't seem to be a lot of things worth crying over!

My Taurus crys....he is sensitive but not in a big cry baby kind of way.

He can be moved to tears -when ever I would fly home or he would have to fly home he would cry.

I think it shows he is in touch with his feelings. It has been a blessing to me- because for the most part, I would only cry when frustrated or angry...

Sag Sun, Aries Moon..Pluto conjunct Ascendant.

When I did cry because I was sad, it was always alone because I didn't want people to see me as weak.

Mr. T has brought more emotion out of me than ever before- with the exception of when my grandmother died (she practically raised me).

johnny -

wow! five years ago? wow!

i can't go five days without tearing up.
am i a freak?
seriously, i think i cry way more than the average human. sometimes it's just because i'm emotionally taken up. not like crying when you are sad, but when you see something beautiful or are just so happy to be alive!

cazimi...i have no idea what you just said....conjunction, squares ...w~HOOOSH...

but i fgure you're asking if he spoke out MY feelings....

the answer is a resounding no...he was a stereotypical libra in the sense that he would always want to keep the peace even if what was said was a lie. he never tried to explain my feelings but would agree with the interpretations of his friends even if they were completely off.

you know, thinking about it now is weird...cos i think he didnt know ME at all. i am very feeling orientated and find it very hard to put my feelings into words, whereas he is the opposite. he would expect me to feel things he never showed , and i would expect him to feel things i never said

apart from this slight communication barrier, and his lack of machismo...everything was sweet as pie...

you wouldnt think i had my merc in gem...

I like it when a man cries if that's his way.
It freaks me out if he cries when it's not.

Overall, though, I've gotta say that I've nothing but respect for a sensitive man.

Oh.

I meant it more in a "Did he embody your inner tension?"... kind of way. Kinda abstract analysis...

Anyway... That's ENTIRELY different from my experience. In my case it was she who would rather lie and keep the peace because of her Libra moon.

She was also very flirtatious and that does NOT fly with my own moon sign. Simply enraged me and I would erupt.

I blame it on our incompatible moon signs. I have terrific relationships with Cancer moon and Pisces moon women. Fluid and continuous. The water's in the right place for me.

cazimi...thats what im saying though...that HE would rather lie than speak the truth....and I hate, hated that....

it just isnt macho....its weak and rather childish.

anywayz, thats my stereotype of libra men..all the ones Ive known.

i find aquarius to be very macho and luscious

its just a confidence thing though. i knew a leo male who was sooo confident that everyhting he did that would probably be lecherous and perverse in some cases was always sexy....he was objectively sexy as hell...everyone one I knew wanted to sleep with him; hetereosexual men were willing to be swayed

but i had a dream about him last night...we were getting it on...and it turned out that he had the tiniest ding ....i freaked out i woke up in a cold sweat.

what does it mean? maybe its time I resumed my 'i'm horny' post

I understand.

In my case. I'm the Libra sun... but I don't keep the peace... it's fiery passion for me.

I think your dream might mean you've acknowledged his confidence as overcompensating for something he lacks... the classic indicator of manhood- a well built penis.

*naughty *naughty...

I'm an Aqua rising.

Not at all...

I'm all for confidence. There's varying degrees of course.

You are not afraid that his overt confidence is covering up for other areas he might be regarded as inadequate... his lack of emotional investment... his lowly intellect... his inability to cry...

What it comes down to for you... is his member. Is it the same for every woman? Beats me. You asked what your particular dream meant. This is just my interpretation of your dream... and what I think it says about you at this particular moment... since I don't know you... and I've only read... 4 of your posts.

Right now, YOU don't care if he can cry with you and still act macho outside the bedroom...

No dick = No Man...

Simple. That's what your dream says to me.

Why do you fear that he might have a small dingy? Because he was...

"sooo confident that everyhting he did that would probably be lecherous and perverse in some cases was always sexy"

But I don't know him... so what can I say? If he drives a ****** car or lives with his parents... and yet he's still ultra-confident... then you can rest assured he's packing a satisfactory piece. But if you know he's got everything else in the world that a woman could want (... remember Bedazzled?)... AND he's hetero... and yet... he still maintains an OVERT in-your-face level of confidence... I think that justifies your dream. If a man has it all... he'll come off a bit more humble... IMO.

Why don't you just sleep with him and find out?? If not, ask him.

I want you to sleep snugly... knowing that Cancers love dreaming.

Sweet Dreams.

cazimi...youre sweet

yea, i was just asking that question unisexually..hehe...

in respects to both men and women..cos im a quietly confident person and I sometimes think that overtly confident people are full of sh*t and it may indeedy be masking something they feel they have to compensate for...

but, then me thinks...'what do I know? i dont know their minds...maybe there isnt much to over-analyse and they are who they are...the uber confident'

but yes, i will endeavour to try and sleep with him....wrap this whole social experiment up...

wil keep you posted
