The author of that book said it was to indicate that men and women are so different. He had no idea about the astrology of it all. Don't both planets play an equal role in both men and women (aspects notwithstanding)? Where is your Mars and your Venus, and how do you think it affects the way you relate to your partners?

Men and women are not equal. They never will be. Men and women are of equal worth, but they are very different. Men are better at some things (generally speaking), and women are better at other things. For example, typically women can handle screaming babies better and are more nurturing. Our brains are built very differently. Women can multi-task extremely well. Guys can only focus on one thing at a time. Every guy wants a girl who makes him feel like a man. Every girl wants a guy who makes her feel like a woman--a princess--and a feminine complement to his masculinity. A woman can be strong in the world and workplace, but she wants to hang on the arm of a strong man...not just physical strength, but mental and emotional strength, as well. And she has her own strengths also.

I have Venus in Gemini and Mars in Cancer.

Mars in Cancer does not move unless it has a fire cracker under it.
A man needs to chase me or I will be geriatric by the time he gets me

Venus in Gemini is a light hearted Venus. It likes to have fun and to laugh.

To me, an intimate relationship is a lot of laughing and sharing like children.

Randall, I agree with you. When I was younger I used to insist that man and woman were the SAME. I think I just wanted them to be equal. But they have different motivations, and the older I've gotten the more I've had to (grudgingly) admit to the differences. And I'm not a girly-girl at all, nor do I like to be pigeon-holed into a specific role, which is probably why I (still) have a hard time understanding the differences, even now! Aries moon with the Uranus likes going against the grain.

Society teaches us that women want a nice guy, so we give them that, and get shoved into the Friends Zone. What women want is ATTRACTION. No matter what they say they like or desire as traits in a man, a deep core attraction trumps it all. She may not even know why she's so strongly attracted to a guy, and often, it has nothing to do with looks at all. Women want raw animalistic passion in bed. Save the "I love you, darlings" for afterwards. Having the slow, building foreplay beforehand, smoldering passion in bed, and the cuddling and closeness after in a man is a dream come true for a woman.

They want to be taken. They want to be ravaged. Why do you think romance novels sell so much? Don't EVER use the words "make love" to a girl. Be a freakin' man, and just say the F word.

Do YOU want a confident woman who knows who she is , what she feels and is her own person, not overly dependent on YOU to build her up?

LOL Randall, so true.

I think some men just want to 'try' and look like the nice guys, and if anything that makes me suspicious. Any time I hear bland words of romance, esp when I don't know the guy very well, I get very turned off. It feels fake and rehearsed and I don't like it.
Just be authentic, and it will be appreciated. A mature, attuned woman will appreciate frankness, openness.

I'm attracted to a wide array of women, but I tend to attract the lost causes...the strays, if you will...the ones who don't trust guys...but they trust me. And the really bad guys who fake being nice are so transparent. I just shake my head in disbelief when I see girls fall for their lines.

They've got to be quick-witted. And I'm a sarcastic person, so they have to be able to get sarcasm and be sarcastic themselves.

Nope, not Pisces. But I will give a big hint: My Mars and Venus are both in the same Sign. T, I love sarcasm! I like to throw jabs...like teasing a little sister. It is extremely attractive to me when I find a girl who can keep up with my quick-wit and one-up me occassionally.
