What are the keys to a happy marriage? Is there such a thing as happily ever after? I've never been married or even engaged. I guess maybe I never will be. Is it wrong to not care about that fact? Anyway, I just don't see the appeal to making a relationship a contractual thing. What's the big deal? Opinions? IP: Logged

(once divorced because I screwed up a long time ago) I guess I really love the idea of marrying my true love. There are a ton of reasons to do it legally. Insurance, spousal rights (ie: if they are dying in the hospital a "girlfriend" has zero rights), tax reasons, etc. However, i love the promises made to one another. There is nothing wrong with you if you don't want to get married or it doesn't appeal to you. It's going to appeal to some people much more than others. My strong Pluto placement has a way of getting people to reveal their true selves. Sometimes, it's not so pretty...but I'd rather see the truth than wear rose-colored glasses.
