I once saw a movie that showed me my definition of Love. It was a perfect depiction. I have never seen any movie moment yet to compare. It was in Romeo And Juliet (the new version with Leo and Claire Danes). It was the Aquarium scene when they first met. Well, how could it depict Love when they first met? It was Love at first sight. They playfully looked at each other through the glass while "Kissing You" by De'ree played in the background. OMG! ------------------ "Cooking is like love. Good one! I loved that movie when I first saw it. Will always be one of my favorites. Reminds me of innocent, pure young love. Miss that feeling! One of my other faves is Playing by Heart. When John Stewart carries Gillian Anderson to bed... YUM. Also the Notebook, almost the whole movie screams LOVE. So good. IP: Logged |

300The scene in the beginning right before Leonidus kicks the messenger into the pit he looks at his Queen. That powerful subtlety makes every hair on my body stand up. Then later when she kills that congressman is exactly what I would do for my love. IP: Logged |

Yes, The Notebook is my fave movie of all-time. Lots of goosebump moments in that one.------------------ "Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." Harriet Van Horne IP: Logged |

the notebook, some scenes in battlestar------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.” IP: Logged |

This movie is a documentary that I happened upon one day and I am so glad I did. It documents the kind of love that is deep and messy and more than anything you can describe as 'love' and it had me bawling big bloopy tears from my soul. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1124103/plotsummary http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgoWcE3Ecqc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4eXJi50EMI&NR=1 Also, I agree with the Notebook for some of the same reasons. I love rom-coms, or even just roms. Also- Pride and Prejudice- Keira Knightley's version. IP: Logged |

"Chasing Amy", it's kind of a off-colored romance. Another one is "Wristcutters" or "Adventure Land".There's one I want to see called Cake Eaters, I haven't watched it fully through. I'm not really a big fan of traditional romance movies or the super duper cheesy ones because they seems to "pippy" and idealistic about love..too unreal for someone like me. This part in "Chasing Amy" always makes me a bit sad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nABQ62ylNQY As someone who has mental illness, I've been scarred a lot in love, guys have held that little tidbit about me and quite frankly I have a very "dark" view about love. I am honest about who I am, I feel I shouldn't be apologetic to anyone about myself, especially not some douche bag.. Anyways, I'm not feeling good to discuss this right now at the moment. I LOVE this scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQhvoLNEqVI It's from "The Mexican" with Julia Roberts. In this scene he asks her - "When two people truly love each other but they can't get it together - when do you get to that point where enough is enough?" And I like his answer in the end So sweet.
