So which one are ya? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extroversion_and_introversion Extroversion is "the act, state, or habit of being predominantly concerned with and obtaining gratification from what is outside the self" Introversion is "the state of or tendency toward being wholly or predominantly concerned with and interested in one's own mental life". I fall into the latter. It is important to understand that both are ok and needed, so this is not a competition for which is better because I do not think it can be categorized that easily, or needed.
I will add some introvert material due to this being so unknown in society (at least in my area) today. http://giftedkids.about.com/od/glossary/g/introvert.htm http://www.psychologytoday.com/basics/introversion http://www.knowyourtype.com/introversion.html ** I would like everyone to know i DO NOT consider this a *Sickness* or *Disease* of any type or the need to be something other than what i am. Example of two well know people are Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, both are introverts and are the top of the tops so to speak. The end result is in how you embrace it. IP: Logged |

I know your chart,Mblake. It has a dominant lower half. That is the astrological sign for introversion,I think. My is a dominant upper half, the sign for extroversion. I would bet that the chart hemispheres will correlate. It would be interesting for people to add this information in their answers ------------------ Jesus never put his trust in man cuz he knew what was in man. You must face, touch and feel the dregs of Nessus before you can grasp the pristine beauty of Neptune. Me IP: Logged |

My chart is top heavy....... However....... I am not offline an extrovert. Also my psych scores show very high introversion. I am in offline life, very reclusive....................... I have a very strong feeling that the opposite of love is not hate - it's apathy. Both. My personality "flips" as determined by a see-saw chart, and a 3rd (Moon, Mars, Pluto, Saturn) and 9th (Sun and Mercury) house influence.Serious and intense introspection, followed by extroversion and fun. IP: Logged |

Coconut, you are an Ambivert? Interesting, how does that work out in life for you?"social networking sites have been a thriving home for introverts in the 21st century' Yah, The internet is like the hive mind. In philosophy: * Universal mind may be defined as the nonlocal and atemporal "hive mind" of all aggregates, components, constituents, relationships, personalities, entities, technologies, processes and cycles of the universe. One place anyone can go and connect to the larger group of people's idea's and thoughts. The playground of the introverted. IP: Logged |

I've always known I was introverted. ------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.” IP: Logged |

Interesting, Found out his work is funded by the scottish rite (masons). No judgement from me here, just note worthy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJsWSEKboTk If the pineal is the gateway between this world and whatever is next, If it is really who we are. That to me strikes the thought of the egyptian thinking the soul was in the head. Hah, the soul is in the mind. Uranus! Who watched the show "lost"? Which one of you did not understand the ending? *Note: I am not advocating this dmt, My brain/mind has had access to this since early childhood. In my case perhaps a experience such as that dmt provides is not needed and I would be edgy, extreme cautious to use such a thing for myself.. Really no telling where my mind would go if it effects a person like that.
I have no experience with this. ** I would like to add that if a person learns the right way to stress parts of the brain, the pineal does at least in my experience become noticeable, I have never experienced a hallucination beyond that of a very strange sense of deja vu, and no I do not know what that means. Not advocating it, I found that, It was in it, I found the subject material facinating.better or worse, It is illegal. Your brain makes it. You are breaking the law. Go to jail. Reality is funny but true. Im not joking, the picture shows a needle but from what I have read you either drink or smoke it, not a needle? I have no idea http://www.enotes.com/drugs-substances-encyclopedia/dimethyltryptamine-dmt/law That makes me a drug user I guess, Well i drink caffeine too, I do not need to really as I am wired to begin with. Hey some christian group has permission to drink dmt for religious ceremonies. haha IP: Logged |

It is why it is in the 18+ forum so that it did not offend anyone. No offense, but people have a right to say however they say it as long as it is not directed at you in a confirmed negative communication. Its is why you ask "You talking to me?" "Yeah I am talking to you" Otherwise it is the wisest orientation to just stay silent and watch, see what happens situation to situation on that subject. Reason being, absolutely no one likes to be critized, no matter how polite they may seem, some part of them will resent you. That can either end with words or depending on your environment/situation, physical violence. If you had said it this way, "I agree with his points, I think about these things everyday myself and we have that in common. I would have done it with less swearing but that is just me, I think joe did it the exact way he means to, and feels good about it, and that is a great thing in the world for many people." How can you hate that? But please do not think this is for joe, But for anyone you meet that you do not want to offend. I do not know anyone on the youtube video, Used the opportunity for an example for use by anyone that wants it. IP: Logged |

"I would bet that the chart hemispheres will correlate."I suspect 12th house planets to do the same in whichever way they are performing in a persons chart. They have a bad name due to lacking information and personal experiences being shared and understood. People initially fear what they do not understand, Then if they see it is not going to harm them, Then it can be worked into the system and those who are misunderstood will become "Normal", just like the rest. The internet is speeding up the evolution of the human mind, Really think about it folks. What is one brain compared to the combined power of the whole race, thinking and working out problems in cyberspace. Plus having 24/7 365 access to the hive brain for any questions you may have. You can now be a person from some unknown town in the middle of nowhere and still be interacting and sharing ideas with the world. Location is becoming less important to ideas and experiences. (It is still important, understand) Mark my words, sooner or later the internet will be included in basic human rights, or if it is not the internet, it will be what the internet evolves into. A Humannet, Our combined experiences and knowledge. IP: Logged |
