Have you ever overcome a fear? If so, how did you? The most common fear is the fear of public speaking. I wrote an Affirmatioin to erase that fear. *SunChild*"I am now changing my subconscious programming concerning public speaking. I am a SUPERLATIVE public speaker! I have something to say, and I enjoy saying it. I derive pleasure from watching the faces in the audience; the audience responds beautifully. My breathing and heartbeat remain normal, because public speaking is something I love, not something I fear!" ------------------

I learned that litany, because,I felt that It made sense. I have forgotten it now.

A scene from "Children of Dune" is needed, but is not available.I will try to explain: Leto the second, Paul's son, has been given mass doses of a substance called "Spice". This spice changed the mind,too much would kill. He was able to survive, His body grew very hard, His test was to face a "Sand Storm". These storms would strip flesh from bone due to the speed of the sand moving. As the "Tidal wave" of wind and sand approached, deafening winds, You could hear leto screaming that litany. --------------------------------------- Time Passes --------------------------------------- A calm, serene desert, still sand, no motion.
A fist bursts through the sand, straight up!
Leto pulls himself out of the sand, he was buried beneath. ------------------------------------- Symbolically, You must be strong enough, to get out of the sand, after you face, YOUR, storm. -------- On a personal note, I thought it was one of the more powerful moments from the mini-series. Did you ever see, "Dragon, The Bruce lee Story"?OK in this clip, what you need to know, is this is metaphysical, this is a dream, But it has real consequences. This is His spirit, The child, is his son's spirit. I said this once before, The universe is hostile, It is a struggle until you win. It is meant to be hostile, only the strong, pass.
