This is a serious question. Where can I get really nice knickers that will last awhile? I always get these coupons for free Victoria Secret panties, but they last me like two months tops either because they usually the lacy sort of thong kind that get ruined in the wash - the fabric frays or shrinks or falls apart.

My mother never took me out for girly things like this, so I'm just wondering if anyone has a particular brand they like for nice, feminine knickers that are high quality but still sexy. I've got a bf, ya know! I've tried Victoria Secret, Agent Provocateur, Forever 21... nothing really lasts.

I hate hunting for undies!
I hate the undie sizing.
Seems a heavy person like me,
thick waisted,
they think should have a gargantuan bum and thunder thighs and uber wide hips.
So undies to fit my waist have enormous leg openings, and baggy all over.

Not sexy,
but only thing I can find that kind of works are men's knitted jersey/satin boxer shorts.
Yay.

PS.
If you are thin, enough for thongs,
then try Joe Boxer brand.
They have very girly fun panties/bikinis/thongs.
Cool bras too!

I'm not sure where you live, but try Bloomingdale's or Nordstrom, a department store that sells various designers. It's a good deal for high quality lingerie if you hit the sale section. And you get your pick of the cake from different brands. If you've really got the cash you can try La Perla. If your not near these stores and in the US you could probably order them online but it might be best to go to the stores because you never know with underwear.

I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to my underwear. Even in relationships, comfort is number 1!

I absolutely love the "Jenni" brand panties, sold only at Macys. They are cotton, comfy, cute, and my only complaint is that after a year or so of wear, the patterns start to fade That is quite a minor detail and I just finished restocking my collection a couple weeks ago...gotta love those clearance bins!

^^ LOL

Thank you for all the suggestions! I really didn't think anyone would take this seriously.

I think I'm going to save up some cash for this beauty (the corset, not the girl).

I love panties and I am a pantie snob... sort of. I like panties that move with me, so I like Hanes her way- satin and I also like VS, but only the cotton ones. Still they don't last long. Isn't it funny, the most expensive panties always fall apart but the regular Hanes will last?

Not sure if this store is in the UK (I could tell cause you said knickers lol) But Urban Outfitters undies have lasted well for me, even the ones I have with the lace egde. A thong I have from hot toppic has lasted me well too.

Places that haven't are Wallmart and Meijers, Areopostle. LOL No matter what the desin.

Here starfox! some boy shorts with foxes on them(don't know how to paste the zoomed in pic)
I find it ironic that I found this on urban outfitters. ha. (Foxes are one of my favorite animals along with kitty's and chipmunks.)

OOOO, pictures! Gotta be careful to not be smutty.

I'm going to Bloomingdales later. Got a $25 gift for Christmas

I'll have to stop by Urban Outfitters later. I need to find boy shorts because they seem the most comfy.

Vanity Fair brand lasts for years. They're not fancy but they look decent and they're durable. You have to browse because they're not all white grammaw panties like the first page. LOL.
http://www.vanityfairlingerie.com

They're way cheaper if you can find a factor outlet like this one-

Hand wash and air dry your underwear.

I buy my underwear from Target or H&M (sometimes I go to Loehmanns and get DKNY or Rampage) and they last me a pretty long time, even with the washing machine. I only wear lace underwear, too.

Yay.

Try low rise underwear maybe. Like ones that sit on your hips and not your waist. Also lace "boy shorts" are good if youre not very curvaceous.
