Those around my age, are trying to attract younger women, for the most part, and I know of one who shaved three years off his age, in order to chase younger women. It's really off-putting and odd to me (although they aren't trying to catch me, so that wouldn't matter to them).

One, a year older than me, has added in the section about what people first notice about them, that people tend to tell him that he doesn't look as old as he is. That's the same sort of thing the guy I mentioned above, put in his profile.

As a young woman, I'm not generally attracted to guys who are past the age of 30. I prefer younger guys than myself, anyway. Although, there are a few 30+ year olds I can get down with, but that's because they have the same lifestyles as me, they hang around the same people I do, they have the same interests, etc so much so that they don't seem a day over 25. I don't like the idea of an older boyfriend because I don't like power imbalances and I feel like older guys tend to baby you, which is unattractive to me. Plus to a lot of guys like that, they only see you as your age and use it as a way to feel vindicated like "SEE, I'M NOT THAT OLD! I CAN STILL KICK IT!" Seems kind of desperate.

On the flip side, I do know quite a few dudes my age (early 20s) who are into older women.

With rare exception,
(and there are those of course)
most guys over 30 are creepy.
And near my age, 57............
ewwwwwwwwwwww.
And it is not the ages,
it is the macho pig "me man you woman" attitude,
complete with sexist stereotype thinking.
Maybe it is mainly a hetero guy thing?

i'v noticed that guys who say that actually do look like their age...

i once had a guy my moms age (not on OKCupid) try to hook up with me and say he doesnt look his age

but hes married o.0 plus hes not my type

i had stopped talking to him but he'll sometimes comment on my status's with the most disturbing sexual comments

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

I've noticed that, too.

I'll be back later, I'm just popping in for now.

Oh, yeah, I meant to say the same thing.

I know there are a lot of good men out there, but it's disturbing how many letches there are, too.
