and in some ways should be at

However due to its mostly adult nature in that these conditions affect a person's ability to engage in sexual activity,

My heart goes out to all who suffer from this. I know of a 12 year marriage that broke up because of this issue. It was the wife who insisted on getting a divorce too. He wanted to stay and make it work.

Yes it is more than sex.
However,
the strain any one of these 3 conditions
Vaginismus
Sclerosus
vulvodynia
do have on the emotional/physical aspects of marriage, that cross over even into other areas of the relationship, the social and so forth, due to pain ongoing, does indeed cause a serious impact on the quality of the relationship.
Walking can hurt,
urinating can hurt,
sitting can hurt.
I tell men;
now imagine if your skin on your head of your penis was raw, bleeding, and your urethra constricted and raw inside......
and tell me how you could have sexual relations? Tell me how you could go about your day?
And ob/gyns are mostly idiots who have no real idea how to help us who suffer.
Pap/pelvic exams are a painful nightmare.
They get very irritated and even angry,
when "I will not relax" on command and cannot relax as they ask because I simply cannot physically do as they ask. They have to use the pre-puberty instruments on me, when they realize, after causing me much agony and even tearing skin, and bleeding,
after I told them they cannot just go and shove huge things in there,
then they go, "oh wow, there really is a problem here!"
No shite you stupid sadistic idiots!
So I get put on this freaky table that practically flips me to a 3/4 head standing positing, and out comes the small instruments and injections to numb the area so they can do the pelvic exam.
And sex......
oh man......
I have not had vaginal sex in several years
because it is possibly physically impossible,
and too painful to try,
and a gay husband to boot, a good guy, but of course he is not motivated to give frequent attention to my scarred and damaged female genitalia,
that would keep things from growing nearly shut.
(using medical style vaginal dilators and numbing agents has been suggested, but geez, going around with such shoved in there 24/7 is not a thing I want to do.)
And straight men want sex when they want it, slip right in, and no patience with
a person who MUST be excessively prepped first, or one who is always in pain there from mild to omg kill me already pain.

And even a man's hands and fingers will cause pain, too rough, feels like sandpaper.
And forget oral sex there with rare exception.
OK rant over for now.

I am thinking what astrological indicators there are for this condition, i would say Venus square Saturn as an important contributor.

Mars/Saturn would be another thing to look at.
Also since it's a health issue H6.
Could also be psychological in roots, so Pluto.Scorp.H8 would be another focus.
