I assume most of the members on here are adults. For those who are married or have a partner, do you share the interest of Astrology or anything else like Numerology with your spouse?
I would want to if I were to ever get married. I think that would be amazing, being able to share these interests with the person you love. Trying to figure things out together and sharing your ideas and thoughts about these topics.
Or do they shun your beliefs? Or plainly just don't care about them?
Please share. I want my imagination/heart to go wild~

My husband and I share the same beliefs and I found out his spiritual journey was very similar to my own. I have only had previous partners who shunned my spirituality. It can (not always) cause problems in relationships. We both apply spiritual levels of awareness to sex, life, ideas, exercise, activities and hobbies. We often like to cuddle ecstatically in bed in utter disbelief we found eachother and on top, we are two sides of the same soul (as it feels.) I think it's mightily important that the partnership be as true and deep on equal wavelengths. .

My husband and I click fairly well on all but sex, because he is gay.
I rather have a partner with very similar/same outlooks and interests than one who has less in common even if there is sex.
Sure I miss sexual expression,
but a good companion and trusted friend,
even though not perfect, is very hard to find.
The chances at my age of finding anyone I click this well with who can offer me more is highly unlikely.
I have called him my ex2b.....
but at this time that is on hold.
We have work to do, books to do and more,
and so might as well keep doing what we are doing and stay together for the companionship.
I know of no one else who would do psi work with me on the spur of the moment as required, even in the middle of the night.
I require a partner who takes such work as seriously as I do, an every day, 24/7 thing,
not just when in the mood or whatever.
Spiritually we are extremely compatible.
I hope that made sense.

My husband despises astrology & all metaphysical topics.

One of the worst things about my life.

Wow, that's so touching! The bond must be so powerful between you two.
But it must be really hard for you. When did he open up to you about his sexuality?

This is exactly what I hope for myself. You're very lucky, I'm happy for you!

There's always something good to something bad~ I'd imagine it would be really hard being with someone who rejects your beliefs. But if the connection and love is strong I could see past it.

Thanks! We do have a lot going for us...that's why we're still together after all these years.

We were emotionally, spiritually, very deeply attracted to each other right off over 14 and a 1/2 years ago.
We could not get enough of each others company.
I knew from day one that he was gay.
I have only been involved with gay or bisexual men.
Being Intersex http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersex
And also male brained,
psychological testing proves my brain is male even though my body was born ambiguous,
and I have given birth.
Those factors make me attracted to and attractive to gay or bi men.
So I live in a kind of limbo when it comes to sexual fulfillment.
I do not have the real male parts gay/bi men want/need.....and I am too male brained for hetero men and even bi ones, who want girly girly.
So sexually/emotional I am not compatible with anyone.
Sure, my sexual skills can and have compensated,
but in a nutshell, no one really wants and desires my male and female sides.
So I just do not bother with sex except solo now.
It hurts too much to be only partly desired.
Androgyne is more what I am.
So the spiritual is what I live for.

Damn.. thanks for sharing this. I feel for you a lot but I'm glad you found spirituality. It's stronger than anything in this physical world.
Much love xo
I'm a gay male btw.

Thank you
Sigh
I wish he could find the right fellow for him both spiritually and physically.
However in the gay community, at least in our area;
it is mostly either sex or friends.
Tired of hearing gay guys saying;
things like sex, love, and friendship do not mix.
Most want to have multiple sexual hook ups, not a real loving relationship.
Even the married/partnered gay guys play around, some with permission, some sneaking.

So yeah,
I am not a guy, despite beard and mustache, and male brain,
but spiritually we work.
That will have to do unless we find a fellow who can fit in with us.
Yes, the spiritual is more important than the physical.
However bodily urges and the desire for physical intimacy is hard to deny.
But without love, no,
been there done that,
not interested any longer in such.
Much love and blessings to you virgolotus.

Lexxigramer,

Sorry to hear about your difficulties.

Can you tell me what you mean by having a "male brain"?

Thank you for your kind words.
Male brain.
There are distinct differences in the psychological workings of the male and female brain.
Except for remembering dreams, which most males are not as adept at doing as females are;
my brain functions like a male;
but I am psychic/trancer, so male or female,
I remember mine.
When looking into my psychological issues and the possibility of gender reassignment;
the gender of the brain processes was evaluated.
I do not think I will ever really understand women.
