I am so depressed.I can't find a job. Daughter's father's being a dead beat. I'm gaining weight. Maybe it's because it's the time of the month. I feel so dead inside ;( IP: Logged |

It certainly sounds like you got good reason rather than some chemical imbalance. I'm pretty lucky in that I only rarely get depressed and only for short periods of time. I've thought about why that is given that so many others are chronically depressed and I'll share why I think so if you want, just in case anything is helpful. Or maybe you just want a sympathetic ear. Well you got my sympathy and I'm sure many others will sympathize as well. Hope you're feeling better soon.

"fixing" depression begins with healing the inner self first, then one is able to heal the external self (environment, etc.)But, lord, I know it takes alot to take the first step to begin to heal from within first. When one does make that first step, whatever it may be, it gets a little easier step by step. Been there, done that, all my life. blessings terri~ IP: Logged |
