Ian,

I'm sorry for making it sound like I doubted your whole life story and its tragedies. I am sure you have had a lot of hardship, and I sympathize with that. I have just seen conflicting accounts from you about a critical incident, which makes me wonder which is true.

Who we are and how we portray ourselves online can be two different things, and I only meant to comment about how you tell your story, not about your life.

That's your business and I respect that completely.

Still, for causing you grief and aggravation, I am deeply sorry.

Faith,

There is no need to apologize. It was a misunderstanding. As I have always held you in high regard, I invite you into my FB page, which will humanize me a bit more and you will gain a much better picture of my life and my family. Ami knows me quite well because of FB. Four others are also on my FB. Sorry I can't join the LL FB page (because I am not allowed to).

Unfortunately, my life has been full of tragedy. I'm not proud of it. It has been a struggle, but I have been trusting enough to open up a portion of my life to this forum. Its not easy burying children, as you can imagine. I'm not some sick jacka$$ who would make that up about my own children. I hope it has not been a mistake sharing, although I have not regretted it. Naturally, not everything is well announced, but I will answer all questions to the best of my ability.

Someone here said something about me being an incredulous rags to riches story. That isn't true. I wasn't born poor, and in fact I wasn't born middle class either. I have never said I grew up broke. I grew up privileged. My father was a rag to riches story, but that is a separate matter. I had to bust my rear end for everything I have now in life, and not one penny was given to me, other than the first two years of my college tuition and expenses. I sufferred being broke since my sophmore year in college and built up my own wealth because I pointed my middle finger at my parents (and still do). The moment he objected to my marriage, I pointed both middle fingers.

Anyway, please ask if there are any seeming inconsistencies. I want to clear up all issues. Sorry we disagree on a number of fronts, but I respect your views and I am not seeking to change them. I seem to be at odds with 90+% of this forum, but oh well. So be it. As to some others who may think that I'm still full of sh1t, so be it. I can't appease everyone in this world.

That is sweet, Faith. It takes a lot to say you are sorry.

Ian, it takes a lot to accept.

We are all flawed creatures. I see that, the more I face myself.

Love you all
