Greetings!

With all due respect I have to disagree with your closing of hera's thread.

Faith has made some genuine contributions to LL and I think it would have been a better idea to state why you did not like what she said, cite her on it and let the thread grow.

If a mistake was made on her part, let her know the mistake and go on?

If she feels whe was correct she would have had an opportunity to state her resources, etc.

I was going to post on that thread cause I often feel like YTA and I so get him. He is on his path as we are all and one's personal opinions and belief structure are not always correct for everybody.

With all due respect again, I kind of got the feeling that part of your closing the thread could have been in part of Faith's statement on Christianity.

Please dont take offense, just my opinion and it bothers me so much I just had to speak up.

When there is a conflict of that magnitude, it is preferable to close it early rather than to let it continue to build and spread.

That being said, for future reference, a Mod should never close another Mod's string unless that Mod requests it (due to not being able to do so because of not being a Mod of that Forum). I would have closed it myself, though.

Thank you, Randall~

I tend to think of threads of things, they take on a life of its own and I think that one wasnt given a change, like I said, just bothers me.

Again, thank you for your consideration and statement.

I forgot about closing the other Mod's thread, Randall. I am sorry about that.

And you guys know I ususlly dont do this, but I like all of you so much and it really hurt to read that, especially YTA.

I had to leave LL years ago due to alot of negativity and I have found in coming back in the past few years it is not usually negative and I can acutally tolerate the energy, unlike alot of energy I experience.

And Ami, I so admire you, all I am saying is that I wish you would have explained yourself a bit more before you closed it.

Randall, thanks again for doing your job with the most eloquent and respectful mannersims!

Hippichick,

Thank you so very much, but none of this really matters in the whole scheme of things.

Just to dimension, since you are an experienced nurse, I have to deal with recessive polycystic kidneys, hepatic fibrosis, alpha 1 antitrypsin, hypersplemism, portal hypertension, endocrine issues, GI issues, neurology issues, hepatology issues, urology issues, elevated BUN and creatine, etc etc, to add to Aspergers autism. Two organ transplants coming up. Plus high school, SATs and college and music college, and state orchestra and driving test. And that's just one kid.

So, it is what it is. I can take whatever comes my way in terms of negativity and criticism. I just do the best I can do to lead an honorable life and that which is exemplary as a parent. Other than that, I can do no more.

YTA

My heart goes out to you~

The reason I am a nurse is because my 20 year old was born with Tetrology of Fallot~

A SEVERE heart defect that was, formerly known as a "hole in the heart."

She still is not "normal."

She still is missing a valve and she "knows" she will die before all of us, her family~

She functions as normal, but her phyisology is far from.

So I really do get you...and I get all you have said in this thread.

To see what I see 36 hours a week, then come home and know what is really goin on with my daughter...

Yea, at times I am right there with ya!

Like I just dont give a f~

Terri,

I'm sorry that I bothered you. A lot of stuff just slips through the cracks at this forum, but I think that as long as we mean well (for the most part, I guess everyone grouches occasionally), we can just keep trying to forge links, understand each other, get along. That's what I want to do.

"Least said, soonest mended" is my approach here...to go further into why I said what I did could turn hurtful or more confusing and I really don't want to go there.

Just letting things be. I'm glad YTA forgave me and hope his life, and yours, and that of your respective families, gets easier and happier.

Peace & love to you.

I agree.

Once things escalate, people are very likely to not only get hurt, but also to say things in anger that they wouldn't normally say otherwise, and it's very hard to stay away from those threads--the temptation to go and keep at it is very strong.

It's also not fair to others on the thread to have to wade through that, in my opinion.

I'm really glad that people made peace in this case, though.

I apologize for messing that up on DD recently. I tried to re-open, but the re-open link wasn't showing up. I made it worse by moving it and then not being able to un-move it (luckily someone did move it back).

I realized, from this thread, that one CAN make a mistake and rectify it, hopefully, by apologizing.

God knew we would screw up. The only ones who never screw up are those who never risk anything other than perfect behavior. However, then you have no true self expression.

Faith you didnt bother me, the whole thing made me sad, like I said cause I like all 3 of you so much.

Ami

With all of our energies I find these threads to take on a life of their own. I enjoy, even if I dont contribute to alot, wathching them be birthed, grow, and as they loose the energy of all of us, they fade out and die....

It is a true example of how energy is such a dynamic thing.

Just like in a relationship when two people come together, something else, a third entity is born and if not taken care of it will, too fizzle out and die~

Hera's thread just died so abruptly that I felt almost like somehthing I had grown fond of just up and died.

Yea, I know I am strange...

blessins all!
