Aphrodisiacs That Work

Any opinions on that?

Has anyone tried pheromones or paid attention to what natural pheromones do? Do you get more attention when you sweat?

How susceptible are you to falling in love with someone's scent?

The mad scientist in me tested out both natural and manufacture pheromones and it was fun. one of the universal pheromones is actually regular old vanilla extract placed in region emitting more heat but still accessible to the human nose such as middle back, behind the ear, collarbone , the wrist etc. Actually it started out as a little idea into a full blown experiment.

Primarily the trigger is heat I.e the reason summer is known for there "summer loving"rarely last for too long afterwards.
Some pheromones are relatively similar to cologne or perfumes just with a higher concentration. Also some pheromones aren't merely for sexual attention, some are used to relax you, to energize you, to stimulate communication or social activity.

Love cannot be created with a scent, the whole process is very temporary.

I loooove the natural scent people have like, not full blown sweaty, I mean like they're washed up and stuff but it's still just their natural smell. Like, mmph! Come here and let me sniff you damn it!

I don't really believe in aphrodisiacs though. Like, eating a tiger dick is supposed to increase vitality? Uhm, no thanks lmao!

I think some scents sort of "fit" the person.

For example when wearing a more earthy cologne I'll not have as many compliments as when wearing something lighter and "fresh".

As for vanilla extract, have heard of that from one of those PUA types.

Some scents do fit certain people better because it goes with their body chemistry better. Most atypical aphrodisiacs have to do with improving reproductive function not to lure anyone to you. Ex. Oysters because of its levels of iron and zinc. Or tiger phallus
Because of concept "you are what you eat" though if this were true there would be giant potato chip bag shaped people walking around as well.

I like patchouli. Very earthy Taurus. It's hard to find though at least in designer scents or the simpler less complex ones. In fact I only smelled the scent last week.

I think aroma can definitely influence energy.

My "signature" scent is:
1 part Patchouli
2 parts Amber
3-4 parts Egyptian Musk

On days where I want to be invisible I only wear Egyptian Musk or Sandalwood.

If I am feeling energetically depleted, I wear Clary Sage and Neroli or Nag Champa and Neroli.

Neroli, Orange Blossom, Amber, Vanilla, Jasmine, and Cinnamon are all very good for aphrodisiac effect on men IMO (all of them are warming/exciting scents).

I think it also has a lot to do with one's Venus. If Venus represents our natural beauty, then the scent you wear should be an olfactory extension of that energy. Venus in Scorpio 8th House does very well with Deep, Rich, Exotic, and Musky scents like Patchouli, Amber, and Egyptian Musk. I tend to be very light with the oil, only 1 - 3 drops does the trick. Warm it up in my hands, and lightly trail my hands over my clothing and through my aura. I like it to be subtle, it makes people want to stand closer, so they can keep smelling you LOL.

^I think I read that grapefruit is the most exciting scent to men or something

But scents sound fun! Like skin care. Or an extension of! And I love skin care...

Pretty much the same here,
In addition to Frankincense and Myrrh.
And Rose, Violet, Jonquil.

Ah, Venus huh? What scent would one recommend for a Venus in Leo in the 8th?
I've recently grown fond of jasmine and lavender myself...

Jasmine and Lavender are both good, I would stick with warm and cozy, but bright and exotic scents like Plumaria, Chamomile, Red Apple Blossom, Vanilla, Cocoa butter, Coconut(maybe coconut/lime). Adding a subtle hint of spice to your scent when you feel spicy may also be fun, so Cinnamon, Clove, Sandalwood, etc...

I LOVE coconut and vanilla scents! These are just perfect, Xiiro. Thank you for the suggestions.

'Ey Xiiro, what would you recommend for Mars in Leo/12th? Or Scorpio Venus in 3rd? I feel like I want to be able to embody either on a whim! I already like/wanna try grapefruit just since it ranks highest for arousal...

Of course they did! Their Mercury is a bit too forward for my passive and tactful Libra Merc. I think I know you, Violet, on a soul level! We're soul friends, I can tell!!!!

Bergamot is a really good suggestion (I love the flavor and scent), but maybe a bit earthy for 3rd House Venus. Grapefruit doesn't sound too bad for your Mars in the 12th, maybe even Grapefruit/Cucumber or even Pomelo/Cucumber MMMMmmm!

For your Venus I would go directly to pheromones. I hear Fahrenheit by Dior is supposed to secretly have pheromones in it and on the right body it smells amazing. These are the scents in Fahrenheit:

"Top notes are lavender, mandarin orange, hawthorn, nutmeg flower, cedar, bergamot, chamomile and lemon; middle notes are nutmeg, honeysuckle, carnation, sandalwood, violet leaf, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and cedar; base notes are leather, tonka bean, amber, patchouli, musk and vetiver."
