Not sure how to phrase this but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this: It has to do with feeling other people's sexual energy or perhaps projecting my own. My lower chakras get activated (tingling, vibrating) and I get confused and sometimes ashamed. I am actually empathic in general and can feel other people's "stuff" but the sexual energies are really bothering me in that I will stand next to someone and feel it and then feel awkward because I often almost feel turned on when I don't want to be. Mostly male but sometimes females too.
Can anyone relate? (Wondering if there is any astrological signifigance too.)
I also have sleep paralysis where I have sexual interactions with shadowy figures...I know this is weird just seeing if anyone can relate. IP: Logged |

This is off topic and I apologize for getting your hopes up at the site of having a post, but I was wondering if you feel lonely about having this? You mentioned feeling ashamed about it which lead me to believe you don't have many people you can talk about this with (which if you don't, is understandable, but I'm also only making assumptions so correct me if I'm wrong.)I don't feel energies like that, but I have strong gut instincts and I know when I get "weird" energy from guys and sometimes girls. My mom doesn't get it, she thinks I'm just afraid of everybody. -.- IP: Logged |

Not really, but I've had moments of temporary insanity in which I was eroticized and wanted to conceive a child (but not marry). Luckily I wisely resisted that impulse when it happened, and it hasn't struck me in many years (I wonder if it's because I'm helping to raise 2 kids now). I suspect it was a chemical reaction in my body. Heart pretty much summed up the fantasy I had well (though I'd tweak it in minor ways) in All I wanna Do is Make Love to You. I was surprised that others said they knew what I was going through (even down to other mental & physical symptoms that went along with it), though of course many never experienced anything like that either. If you are empathic like I have always been;
then yes you will feel the various energies from others and not only the sexual energies.
The sexual energies simply feel more hmmmmm.....awkward and unnerving until you learn to accept them as natural human emanations.
How old are you?
As for your galvanization and sexual interactions with shadowy figures;
I do not feel they are actual entities but aspects of yourself trying to help you figure something out about yourself.
Are you sexually active?
Are you uncomfortable about sexual issues?
You indicated a level of shame where there should be none.
Suffice it to say;

It's no problem because your post does relate a lot to what I was talking about actually. It's like I feel something I'm not supposed to feel and I feel like I'm reading someone's diary or perhaps going through their stuff. I don't think it's directed at me usually. So I will space out in public sometimes to make it go away or keep all my muscles flexed and breath stuck...and I dont' realized it until later. It has gotten better though. Did you read my post above?
As to it feeling like you are reading someones diary or going through their stuff;
that too is very normal until you learn to block and not let all their emanations hit you, and or learn to relax and just let it all wash over you.
It took me decades to learn how to do that.
Also rarely is it directed at you.
It is simply what people do without realizing it.
It is very handy if you feel a bad vibe emanating from someone.
It can save your life.
Example:
I felt a bad vibe from a well dressed nice looking young man and got out of the store without getting what I went in for.
Seconds later he held up the store at gunpoint and then a McDonalds across the street.
My husband wanted to go to that McDonalds but I told him NO WAY!
I knew the gunman was going there next.

I might sound very young in some of my posts but I'm 26. I think the sexual discomfort happens when I feel it mirrored in myself. Or maybe....I can feel someone else's sexual arousal or maybe even slight sexual twinge and then I feel they know I feel it. The worst is when I feel it with family members or someone who I have to stand in a close proximity with. Without getting into too much detail, I am interested in alternative things sexually and because of this....I have been confused about pursuing sexual relationships. (Bdsm type interests.) I do feel the shadowy entities have a bdsm feel to it sometimes. Which is why I'm unsure if I'm supposed to enjoy it or not. Thanks for your help. IP: Logged |

I see nothing abnormal about your experiences.
And it is not unusual to feel as you do about certain things like bdsm.
Sexuality is something where we all hopefully learn to find a niche where we feel comfortable in, and not harming ourselves or others.
Sexual experimentation thoughts are perfectly normal for a person your age.
No you are not a child.
However I am pushing 60 LOL. 
So much of what you have said is a been there done that thing for myself personally.
You will figure it all out.

The thing that separates me from true empathics though is I never feel like I'm invading their privacy. So if I'm empathic, it's to a lesser degree. I find not looking people directly into their eyes helps. The energy transfer seems to be stronger if I accidentally do (that's not to say I go everywhere interacting with people looking at the ground.)IP: Logged |

Yes, the eye contact thing is a biggy. If I make eye contact it's much more intense. Sometimes there are people who just don't feel very aware and it's very easy to be around them and I can relax and I can stare at them. IP: Logged |

I definitely feel sexual energies from others...either that, or it's my own projecting itself outward toward certain people who may naturally be receptive to mine? Not sure which way it goes. Sometimes, even with people who I wouldn't normally be attracted to, I feel a definitely "pull" coming from my groin and lower chakra. If anyone notices, I even tilt my hips/groin toward those people when I'm standing near them or talking to them, haha!IP: Logged |

So you're cool with it and have accepted it? (I admit to tilting my hips or groin towards people if they don't seem to be aware of my energy or aware of me being aware of their energy haha)

There is another side to this so to speak.For example some people will really become sexually attracted..and one does not know it. For lack of a better term, others get turned on, and you just don't know it. Examples I can give: For whatever reason, men tend to find a woman cooking..really sexy Woman on the other hand, can find a man doing work really sexy Meanwhile, one can be just stirring pasta and the other just cutting grass..and have no idea that one is in line to be "mounted". I totally know what you are talking about energy-wise, and yes I can feel that stuff too. I feel other's feelings and sexual stuff as well, thankfully not usually all at the same time. I would ask you some questions but they would be too personal for a forum.What I will say is that if you are feeling any shame attached to your feelings, that's the part I would investigate if I were you. Everybody's sexuality is different and getting to know any of your sexual 'shadow sides' and eventually owning them can be a very powerful and empowering experience. IP: Logged |
