Who knew flying was so...hot?

It's already been revealed that Virgin Atlantic's flight attendants are the most attractive in the industry, but who knew the rest of the flying public had such a good chance at getting lucky?

A recent survey of 1,000 people by U.K. company Skyscanner revealed that 45% of fliers admit to flirting mid-air, with 8% forming relationships post-landing.

Perhaps the most interesting statistic showed that a whopping 95% of travelers wanted to be part of the infamous Mile High Club--and a sad 6% of men said that the act was their ideal Valentine's Day gift. For those counting, 20% of travelers claim to have joined the prestigious club (and roughly half have done so with a planemate).

Danger! Danger! Lol Wouldn't do it myself. The fines and being banned from the airline are not worth it to me. Plus I have a Taurus Moon so comfort is pretty important.

I was talking to a guy once who matter-of-factly revealed that he had done "it" on an airplane. NOT in the bathroom, but under a blanket with his girlfriend while most of the passengers were sleeping.

My opinion of him just skydived. I thought this was terribly trashy.

But he acted like, "What's the big deal, everyone's doing it, the stewardess just rolled her eyes and got lost."

aquaguy, Taurus Moons + dirty airplane bathrooms = Ew

Faith, I have heard these same types of stories. In fact, I have witnessed a story like that myself, though not on a plane. It doesn't bother me on an intellectual or philosophical level - I'm very open minded about sex and sexuality. It bothers me more on a cleanliness level. Like, someone is going to be sitting in those seats.

IIRC, it is, but a woman couldn't conceive a child that way (at least not until she returned to gravity within a certain amount of time).

Seems like a way to pretend to be edgy. Generally speaking, as long as they don't leave a mess (or become a spectacle) then I don't care, I figure there are worst ways to pass the time. I suppose I could be talked into it but it would take some convincing.

And now, just for fun, a reminder not to judge too quickly in under 30 seconds:

^ Yeah...no mess or spectacle please.

Could be romantic, I suppose, under certain circumstances...but I admire discretion. A lot.

PS Funny link there.

idk if i can count myself in this club. do u have to meet them in the air?

she was the receptionist at my leasure club, who became a stewardess. (found this out later) i felt the eyes on me and i don't think i'm that clueless, though i can be.

i also was panicking coz i couldn't find my passport and we were close to landing. actually i knew it was lost the whole flight. it's the first time ever it happened to me like in the movies when the protagonist becomes clumsy coz he is nervous. (also barfing coz they were in trouble happened to me with my thousands of dollars blackberry bill lol)

i spilled coffee on myself. coz i kept putting the seat tray up.. down looking for the thing.. anyway i head to the bathroom after letting the coffee dry a bit on my pants yeah lol coz itch embarrassing.

the rest would sound like a cheezy porno but she helped with the pants.

It isn't too bad really on the sleepers on transcontinental flights. The A380s are really nice, but I mostly know B747s. You get a moderate amount of privacy, you get to be under a large blanket, plus the beds do not squeak. The cabin is darkened. Most people have noise cancelling headphones on, or are asleep. Nobody knows. First Class on a A380 has suites, so people go all out with the act. The bathrooms seem impossibly small for me to even pee pee, let alone do anything else.

I thought of this thread when the hospital cafeterias sign said "mile high meatloaf" The best loaf in town.

That is very very lame.

Just another one of those times when I feel like starting an online group called "Slap a Catholic Priest Today!"
