...if anything. And I mean all kinds of love between people. I've only seen it in movies and read about it in books cause it's not even around me. How does it feel like to love and be loved? I'm curious.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Lovely. Warm and nice and cuddly and soft, says my 7th House Taurean Venus. Mystical and profound and full of communion, says my 5th House Pisces Sun. Free and accepting, says my 3rd House Aqua Moon. That is, different loves may feel different to different people, no? ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Love to me means opening yourself up to being vulnerable to someone you care about deeply. You give yourself away to someone else with the understanding that they will not hurt that vulnerable part of you that you've given them. IP: Logged |

Perfect! I've said that before nearly verbatim. I'll also add that it seems so often that people forget to be gentle with that exposed vulnerability. Why do you think that is? ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects. IP: Logged |

I think Padre's does that nicely. You give away a piece of yourself for safekeeping regardless of who you love. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects. IP: Logged |

As an aside, I'm sorry you haven't experienced it. Why is that so?------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects. IP: Logged |

B/c love mellows with time, what was precious and delicate becomes common place and is not treated with the same reverence that it once was, that is nature of "us". Some effort flags over time, love doesn't lose it's bloom, it does fade like leaves in the fall, if the root of the tree runs deep however, it shall endure. IP: Logged |

It's ok, one can live with it Well, I've been always on my own, my family is disfunctional and I'm not very lucky in the friendship department either. To be honest I'm not sure if I'm capable of love (towards humans at least) but that's another story. Keep posting, Big Sister is watching. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

There are so many kinds of love that it's too complicated to answer. Maybe after I've thought about it I'll come back to it, but right now I find the question too overwhelming to tackle due to its many manifestations and variation. But I did want to say that it can hurt and it's possible to both love & hate someone at the same time, which is the worst feeling in the world. Actually, I'm not sure it's possible to truly hate without love, witness how hate propaganda almost always tries to portray the enemy as a threat to loved ones. Not that I'm saying that's what it's like, just that's one way it can be and I expect no one else would bother to mention that, so there it is. Maybe more later. IP: Logged |
