But what did it take?

The stalker pulling a knife on my youngest's bfriend...

No cries from single women, no cries and evidence of death threats upon me and my daughter...

NO

IT TOOK the creeper to pull a knife on a MAN...

I relished the moment when SAPD, after, briefly listening and hearing my story told his compadre "cuff him."

Then the cop tells me, "I really have nothing to arrest him on, but he is a pain in the a$$ so we are finding a way to take him in....."

OK, GOOD.....

He passed a field sobriety...HUH?

GIven the amount of beer bottles he threw in my yard last night anybody should have failed....

My daughter and her (former) bfriend show up just intime...I told them IF he passes again to detain him cause the cops are on the way...(after him squeeling tires and death threats from the road as I was enjoying my Zen garden and a cup of tea after work......)

So they did.

Knife pulled, threats on a MAN and the cops are off, in chase.

One detained him, the other came back...

Here is the conversation:

Cop "do you have a boyfriend?"

Terri, "yes and he heard his threats over the phone he lives in Ohio"

Cop "Brad says you are his girl friend and you are cheating on him...."

Terri "I have not been his girlfriend in ELEVEN years...."

(this and that.....)

Cop to the other cop, "cuff him>"

about thrity minutes later I get a call on my cell..

Cop: "Terri? are you somewhere where we can talk without your daughter and her bfriend?"

Terri: "Yes I will go outside"

to make a very long story short...the cop asked me where she worked, I replied a rtizy restaurant...why? cause Brad says she has been a stripper for this place and that...hmmmm

funny her car has not worked in months...and I have known all her whereabouts..

WAIT it gets better!

Seems stalker Brad then says his beef is not with me, but my daughter cause they have been in a relationship for six months...

Wait now...

I tell COP, She is 21 and she can do what she wants to do, and I have asked her if such has taken place, she denies and I believe her...COP goes on to question her employment, her whereabouts, etc.

I tell COP,"What in the hell does this have to do with life threats on MY life, MY daughter's life and her former Bfriend and his family's life?"

Cop couldn't answer.

FRIGGIN COPS!

EVER since this crap has been going on they are so man orientated!

I am SO sick of law enforcement, tis why I purchased my own metal protections years ago...

(BTW had my .38 loaded and ready to go outside the whole time this took place....)

All in all, the cops "law enforcement" was way, way willing to believe what stalker said above and beyong TWO single women living alone...

ALways been that way, always will be...

After the fact....daughter's bfriend beat the **** out of her, so much I had to come come from work today,HE, BLAMING her!!!

Really?

(third time beating)

Others "mutual combat"

bfriend strangled her to where she saw stars then black, then she racked him, then finally his dad came in and pulled him off of her....

NO police report, she knows, cause she, in a frenzy to get out, kicked over his computer...

She already knows who will win.

Done, Done...done...

Thanks for reading...

(food for thought?)

I vaguely recall how Houston deputies murdered a woman while she was on the phone to 911. Her last phone call aired on the news before it went down the memory hole. One of the deputies was her ex whom she was divorcing, and she said he was among those who broke in. To no one's surprise all the deputies were cleared of murder. That's not the only time they got away with that, and at least once back in the 70s some cops even killed a runaway boy for fun throwing down a gun from the evidence room after which the PI hired by the boy's family found had been registered and thus their lie exposed that the boy had pulled the gun on them (can't recall if it was police or deputies, they made a real life movie about it but no TV station in the area would air it, locals had to catch it on cable).

So all in all I'm just not surprised how my dad could get away with repeated assaults and even attempted murder with just a few hours in jail at most despite the restraining order against him. According to Dad's relatives a DT even asked him about the Thunderbird with the sabotaged brake pad that nearly got me and Mom in a wreck on the freeway, and he'd told the DT about how he got that car, cared for it over the years, and then she won it from him in the divorce (granted, I agree she did it to be nasty to him, but that doesn't excuse it, especially as I was in the car with her when it finally fell out and that put others on the freeway in mortal danger as well), and the DT supposedly called Mom a ***** and said she should get a man to check her car in the future to make sure things like that don't happen (I heard about this years after it happened so I don't know how much the tale grew in the repeated telling).

I never saw the system as my friend. If I ever get a psycho stalker after me (and almost did once, but luckily I foiled him when he tried to find my address) I'll do all the normal stuff with documentation, witnesses, police reports, and restraining orders but it will only be to maximize my chances of not being charged with (and being cleared if I am charged) of being a vigilante when I drop him (or her). But really, the way I see it after my childhood is this:

Oh, and I was finally able to find this (after having given up earlier from sifting through too many similar to it but without the main point):
http://www.aclu.org/human-rights-womens-rights/jessica-gonzales-v-usa

quote:
Although Gonzales repeatedly called the police, telling them of her fears for her daughters' safety, they failed to respond. Hours later, Gonzales' husband drove his pick-up truck to the police department and opened fire. He was shot dead by the police. The slain bodies of the three girls were subsequently discovered in the back of his pickup truck.

Gonzales filed a lawsuit against the police, but in June 2005 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that she had no Constitutional right to police enforcement of her restraining order.

Once, a police officer took out his cellie and started texting while driving. He even took a call and gossiped for about two mintues before saying he was driving! His buddy didn't care much.

And I got a front row viewing from the back container! Cops any ways...I might've whipped out my own cellie and snapped a pic of it, but it's kinda hard when cuffed...

And oh yeah, I read a "true crime" book in which a teen went for help against her dad sexually abusing her and was brushed off so she got an Eagle Scout to kill her dad. Would've gotten away with it but he bragged and it got to police and then it came out.

Thing is, the prosecutor gave a speech that infuriated me. He admitted the teen had gone for help and been brushed off but that such happens to far too many women, and if all they get is probation (as the pair had a lot of public sympathy) then that will give the green light for all the other women who have been abandoned by the system to do the same. I see his point, however, why defend the fact you're not going to do anything for them and insist even underage girls have to spread her legs for daddy? Just who are you trying to protect with this prosecution (and notable lack of prosecution earlier)? If you can prosecute women and those who defend women then why can't you prosecute those who attack women so that such vigilante action isn't called for in the first place?

OMMMGGGG!! hippichick, I JUST READ YOUR POST!! UN-BELIEVABLE!!! WOWWW!!! Has to be infuriating!! I'm so GLAD you girls stuck up for yourselves!!!!!! Whatta liar that creep is!! And how helpless-feeling is that when the "cops".... the rescuing ones don't even want to believe YOU, but believe the things that the 'manly' liar proposed to them....

I'm glad you got through it. What an ordeal!!

Stay safe, and CYA with documentations! Hope that bustard is foiled. You know, things go on for a long long time before freaks like him get caught sometimes... I was in a domestic violence support group for a while.... It's important to have a 'plan' in place in case stuff happens again.... Even cameras video-taping what's going on.

The more I see of your posts, the MUCH more I understand your plights and reactions. Incredible CRAP!! demands Incredible Woman..... And Strong-WOMAN you ARE!

Tried to work Friday and I completed Friday, but talked to my boss that I need a few days (was making stupid mistakes that I caught) and she honered that.

As a matter of fact, she, my boss was the director of our ER for quite sometime and she said (not going to quote just the jist)

~I have seen so, so many situations where a woman comes in beat to hell,, the cops go and get the "man's" statement and nothing happens....even in rape and emotinal abuse situations..

Nothings happens....~

gosh, I wonder....my gosh I do wonder...
