Compliments are nice in any form, the compliments from older people are special. There something really genuine about them. I helped my friend at this volunteer art program thing and I was helping ladies around 50-60 with their paintings etc. One of the ladies told me how beautiful I was, and it was just so sweet. They started talking about the advantages of being good looking in job interviews lmao. The lady then told me not to waste my youth and beauty on stupid people... I should start taking her advice....
