Do you ask your new boyfriend/girlfriend to get tested before doing anything sexual? I know a girl who recently got into a new relationship, and she asked her guy that they go together to get tested for any stds..She says he got offended that she would ask that, and the fact she wouldnt take his word for it when he told her he was "clean".. I agree with what shes demanding. I asked a few other people i know if they and their partners got tested before any intimacy, and they said no......I was shocked. I thought getting tested was something everyone did by default. Especially when entering a new relationship. Is it innaopriate to ask your partner to get tested, in order to get intimate with them?! Have you ever beeen asked, and got offended? Why? Have you ever asked a partner to get tested, and did they they get offended? Or said no?IP: Logged |

I don't blame the guy for not doing it... I have heard from guys who have been tested that it was extremely painful. That is if they do the cotton swab test...... IP: Logged |

I would be willing to have penentrative sex without a condom only if my man had a vasectomy  But that's me.nahyt, as far as I know the risk of getting infected, if there's anything to get infected with, is low when it comes to oral sex. Unless you have abrasions, wounds etc. That's why brushing your teeth before this activity isn't recommended. Generally, I find the idea of testing very wise. I can imagine it can be a little uncomfortable to discuss it but if two people are serious about each other it shouldn't be a problem, right?

That sounds a little neurotic.sorry, just being honest lol. Generally if somebody has an std there are some telltale signs,especially with women... If a woman has an std or any kind of infection she usually stinks down there... My friend lost his virginity to a chick who had gonorrhea. He told me he could smell her vag as soon as she took off her clothes lmao. Despite that red flag he had unprotected sex with her and suprise!suprise! suprise! he got gonorrhea too. IP: Logged |

No testing and you risk getting herpes, HIV, HPV. And yes, if the new love interest refuses, that's a deal breaker. Don't think most people do this, though. I mean, get tested.IP: Logged |

Yes absof*ckinglutely!I don't randomly hook up with people so I'd damned if I get stds someone I "trusted". That would be my own fault... I've done it before and I'll do it again.

I think it's like brushing, flossing, and mouthwashing your teeth. Some people do it 100% while the majority of people don't, and when it's brought up, it's met with answers like "I forgot" or "it's okay to skip it a few times" and defensive demeanours as if to say they think you're accusing them of being a bad person for not doing something healthy and good.IP: Logged |

I'm not sure how I view oral sex. Maybe it's half-virginity I haven't had it so I don't have such a dilemma anyway.

So you get tested together as potential sex partners!
For whatever reason I've never go the extra step.... maybe because I'm waiting for the feeling love. I consider oral sex foreplay, just like HJs and fingering.
