I think this can be honed down to the charts. I had this epiphany when I was talking to a guy who repulsed me off the scales.

He made my skin crawl. For my part, when I tried to be friendly, he though I was a manipulative @#@##.

I went to the charts. My Unaspected Venus made the 4th leg(exact) to his T square making it into a Grand cross.

I have someone with whom I have the same feeling as SE and AG.

I have not seen the chart but I bet my Venus is smack in the middle of something like this person's T square or something similar.

If not, my almost Unaspected Moon is.

There was another incidence on here when a guy who had lots of feelings like he could not make it in society( Chiron in the 10th) hated a guy who was successful.

It was a ferocious hate with no reason. This person is long gone now.

The unsuccessful guy had a T square. The successful guy had that Sun and I think other planets in the sign of the empty leg. I tried to find out the degrees but never did.

I am sure that the successful guy made the other one's T square into a Grand Cross.

By the same token, when you like someone a great deal, the charts make your personal planets light up.

I won't stand for some guy shoving down his values and life outlook down my throat, telling me what a great guy he is and how horrible I am.

I don't need warmth and fuzzy feelings with anybody. What I need is to vigorously defend myself. I don't need social connections. I only have to justify my life to God, and only God. Plus my wife. You know the rest of that speech.

I've found a big reason for dislike is sometimes people are to much alike and that causes a huge amount of friction.

Or, if someone is just completely outside of a comfort zone and seen as odd or weird or anti social, they are disliked straight off.

I looked at the charts of two people who I can't get along with. Both of them have Mars AND Saturn squaring my sun.

I've heard that philosophy before, that when you dislike someone, it's because they are too much like you. Well, ultimately I have something in common with everyone on this planet, so I guess has to be at least somewhat true.

However, these two people do some irritating things that I know I don't do. Sure, I do other things that might annoy them and other people, but there are obvious differences.

For instance, one of them is a triple Cancer, and she cries and manipulates people over to her side when she's in hot water over something. And people come running to her defense even though she's lying half the time.

More when you have two people who approach things from a Authority position, there will be conflict, say a Taurus/Cappy and Gemini and Saggie, there is a huge potential for sparks to fly.

I don't think people can truly dislike each other in general - if they only know one another via an online forum (and they are not even close).. AG and SE don't chat and they don't communicate much on LL anyway.. Why would they care enough to -actually- dislike each other?

And Sand was just showing off to get female attention - by making jokes at Aqua Guy's expense. Sand doesn't care either and he does not dislike him. He was using him.. which was nasty btw!
AG obviously got upset, as anyone would in his shoes so I guess he would have a reason to dislike Sand - but he is too airy/earthy and detached, so actually I doubt that he feels anything at all towards Sand on an emotional level. AG is only annoyed with the Mods for not doing more - and with other posters for still talking to Sand and about Sand.
