Well, it finally happened. She's an adult. *sniff* Do you feel sad inside, pride, an indescribable feeling of Milestone? I wonder if any of you out there feel this, or have insight on this, having felt it yourself. It's like Graduation, a feeling of "This has happened many times here" and an echoing of the years, a Timeless Moment of Transcendence that comes from the metamorphic. Feel free to share "Your Moment" from either viewpoint. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad... IP: Logged |

Yes, I've been through it twice and have one more to go.It was hard for me. The letting go of what was is always hard for me, but especially in this situation because no matter what they do (even if they stay, or go and then come back) nothing is ever the same again, and letting go of that sweet time is very difficult. They still need you, but never in quite the same way again. I'm assuming you are talking about a child. If you are talking about a car or something, I will feel really stupid, JS. lol IP: Logged |

Well, I almost called her a child, but... Well, I'm not too worried about losing her, she will be doing some of her basic core work at the College down the road.
(I actually moved down here from the mountains with that in mind.) It is just such an awesome feeling of Milestone that has come upon me. My Baby Has Grown Up. IP: Logged |

My mom is an Aries and works as a Chemistry and Biology Professor. Since the time we could stand up and walk, she instilled the importance of being independent in me and my brothers. However, when the time came when we wanted to go out in the world and do our own thing, she had a hard time letting us go . Just goes to show that no matter how old you get, a mother's love never wavers . So I understand how you feel Ellynlvx; But be proud of your daughter, trust the values you taught her and let her make you proud . IP: Logged |

Yeah, she's pretty cool, Kerosene. She's the one who loves "Homestuck" reads it all the time. I put this link up for you: http://store.isisbooks.com/PENTAGRAM_BOOK_OF_SHADOWS_JOURNAL_p/bospent.htm they have an awful lot of stuff, don't always want to pay for it, but they pretty much have anything you want. About my daughter. She was a Beltane Child, I was gifted her name in a dream, I put the last few stitches in her baby quilt as she decided it was time to be born. Her father delivered her in my Grandmother's house. I was vegetarian all through the pregnancy and five years after she was born, she was home-schooled all through Primary School (to eighth grade) I taught her the Astrology Symbols before she learned her letters, and her choice of Path was her own. We lived in a Ghost Town way back in the Forest, in the Mountains and quite a solitary lifestyle. My son is a Fire Fighter, and I am proud of that (Humanitarian Service, very proud) but this is something else, again... IP: Logged |

Thank you all very much. For any and all who follow "Generational Astrology brought to you by the Planet Pluto." This is the current crop of High School Graduates that we are looking at, and the Transformation that they presage: quote: Pluto in Sagittarius:Sagittarius is a sign of religion, law, philosophy, higher education and travel. Pluto entered Sagittarius around the year 2000, marking a period of spiritual regeneration at the beginning of the Aquarian age. At this time there will be a fundamental understanding of deeper spiritual values among all people. Religions as they are known at present will be completely transformed. There will be one world religion based on man's direct intuitive communion with the One Creator. New spiritual leaders will arise to teach the fundamental laws governing all life in the universe. The new world religion will combine all the highest expressions of the great religions of the past, with a more comprehensive scientific understanding of the underlying forces of life." ^ Cool! Although the "one world religion" part is worded a little freaky, haha. But otherwise, sounds great! IP: Logged |
