I was just thinking about this. I have come to some rules for life which fit and feel good and right.

Add your own

1. Never do anything that you don't want to be seen by everyone. Of course, we have private talks etc but don't do actions you want to keep in the dark.

2. Try your best to be kind to everyone, even people who annoy you. Force yourself to do nothing, if that is all you can do, rather than react meanly.

3. Be humble. Humility is always welcome in any situation.

4. Love is the answer to any question, no matter what it is.

These might be super cliche but...:

- Don't ever feel the need to compete with anyone else other than yourself. We all have different paths and journeys in life to follow. None are exactly the same.

- Judge your success by your own standards, life is too short to try and live up to an ideal that truly doesn't make you happy.

- If you'd rather shoot yourself in the foot than go to your job, find a new one.

- Life isn't about acquiring every new gadget and material thing. When you're in your last moments in life, you won't be thinking about how you were the first to have a flip phone or even about the outfits you wore. Instead, you'll be thinking and reminiscing about the many memories created with friends and loved ones over the years, so make them count.

I'll have to think of my other ones but this is absolutely one of mine. I'd much rather go travel somewhere with loved ones than get a new car or something (providing my old car worked fine).

You reap what you sow.

Be grateful for what you have.

Life is short. Enjoy while you can.

Accept yourself as you are, even when others don't.

This is a mind blowing example of humility. Most people on here know IQ. He has a banner on here.

He is a true master in AStrology. I send him clients when I feel the case is above me.

I asked the last client I sent if I could read her report and she sent it to me.

It was so brilliant that I wrote to him to thank him for all he did.

He wrote back to me praising me for my gifts.

That just blew me away. He is a master but he stops to give praise to a student! That is humility in action!

To me, if people really want to learn and grow on here, the superstars are Randall, IQ and Lalalinda.

Nothing fancy, just some Seattle's Best in the coffee pot. I'm honestly not even sure what type it is, because my husband bought it. I just wake up in a stupor and pour it into my cup.

I do miss my espresso machine, though. I used to make myself delicious mochas with real chocolate powder, and cappuccinos.

Now I want one!

Violets you should consider watching the TRue Tori. Dean is like our mothers--clueless.

He was complaining of the lack of sex when Tori had 4 little babies and just had a really bad pregnancy with complications!

He truly does not get it. He is not trying to be clueless. He truly is. It is who he is. This is quite elucidating!

Another Rule for Life:

Go where the love is. There will be haters and there will be lovers. Let the haters teach you patience but open your heart to the lovers. They are there. I, always, find them, anyway!

Don't compare or compete.
When you are true to yourself all will respect you.
And of course, Do unto others as you would be done unto.

What you see is what you get...ie how you look at the world is how you will see it.

I have been making a real effort to walk in love since I have been studying love in the Bible. If I have nothing nice to say, I try to force myself to shut up. This does not mean that I am a wimp if people abuse me but I try to stay calm and deal with the facts at hand and not let my ego get the better of me. I have been getting SOOOO much love back.
