Hello everyone, i have some simple questions for you if you would like to answer, any kind of reply is welcomed: what do you do when you do not find a single reason to live anymore and you are on the verge of ending everything? when you have hit the bottom so many times that you have absolutely no strength to get up anymore. You try and then you get down and then try again and so on and so forth. You know it is your own fault, everyone knows you know it and they tell you to get up but you just simply cant anymore.
Is there still hope? how do you find hope? where do you find hope? What do you do when you reached the point where no one and nothing can give you motivation to live? thank you.IP: Logged |

The Mod e mails can be found by clicking on the Mod name. You can paste this your own e mail. I do that if I want to contact a Mod, anyway but my e mail is the same, either way.------------------

I was there, 3 years ago, and did attempt suicide, sadly. I am in a much, much better place right now, even though I saw another engagement go down the drain, as I did then, but took it a lot differently now. There is hope, but I strongly advise that you talk to someone as soon as possible, in real life. This is a dark path and you should have someone by your side to light it. I can recommend you someone in Bucharest (this is Hera btw), so email me if you want. ------------------

Posts like these break my heart, because I almost lost my sister to depression 4 years ago. When your in this kind of state, it feels difficult, if not impossible to get yourself up again. Do you have anyone who you can talk to?Everyone has given great advice, but I want you to know that you are truly worth it, even if you cannot see it at moment. The thing is that you actually have tremendous strength, for being able to hit rock bottom and climb back up shows you have tremendous character. Each day, do something nice for yourself, doesn't have to be anything special. Once you see what other people love about you, you will begin to see why you so many reasons to live and why you are an invaluable member of society. The thing I have learned about depression is that talk does not touch it. You have to try to just "be with the person". This goes for any issue, really imo
You have to try to give love and love is what heals.------------------

I have been there before, and it's a horrible place. There was a point in my life where I thought about suicide. I was so unhappy inside but I felt like I had to 'suck it up' and not show it because I felt like showing emotions is weak (I always had that problem). What stopped me from ending it all was this: One night I had a dream. And I know it might seem cheesy to some who don't believe in spiritual things but I dreamed that angels were showing me what would happen if I ended my life, how it would affect others that truly love me (because when you are in a dark place you TOTALLY and I mean really forget that there are people that truly love you). I dreamed that my mother was crying and that she was very heartbroken. And the emotional pain that I felt in the dream was so bad, it was the pain that I felt when I thought about my father who died and was absent from my life. And I remember thinking I would never want my mom to feel that pain again for the rest of her life, to lose not only her husband but her daughter. So yeah, what stops me from suicide is thinking about my loved ones. I love my mother SO MUCH that I would never ever want to inflict that sort of pain in her life. I have had a friend that attempted suicide and it's a horrible feeling not only for the victim, but the people left behind. Also, I have to say, things actually do get better. For me it did, and every time I experience something new in life I think to myself: imagine if I had ended it all, I would've missed this, I would have not experienced this, which is a shame. Even though things don't look great right now, trust me there is a bigger picture in all of this. Life is filled with ups and downs. Hang on <3 You have to believe that things will get better and they will! Also I have to say, if you want to talk or just vent, let it all out. Whether it is through a journal, a forum on the internet, loved ones or professional help, it's ok to reach out. Also, getting out of the house is very important, taking a walk, exercise and enjoying some sunlight. geea, I really hope you make it through <3 IP: Logged |

@cappy, 12muddy,others are my reason to live. I am tired of spiting them and tired of living for myself. You end up alone or coupled with other bitter people to make each other more bitter and to indulge in dangerous sutff. i have people but no one is listening anymore or might be me who cannot express anything for people to understand. Yes, i feel the same, you walk empty inside and everyone thinks you are fine. And then one day you cant take it anymore.
I would let it out, i did at some point, i still try but everything i do turns to dust or against me.

Please don't try and lessen it by telling yourself you are exaggerating. What you feel is real, and painful. I would suggest seeking a professional counsellor. I would also suggest searching for articles tumblrs pinterests etc. of people who have been in a similar place and found a way through.
In my experience, the words that helped the most were, "You never know what may happen tomorrow." I wish you all the best. ------------------
