A love interest of mine had an age gap with him being 80 plus years older than I was. 
My best friend long passed on;
was 69 and her lover 19.
It only ended because he was killed in an accident.
Other love/sexual interests of mine had a gap of 70 plus years, with that gentlenan being older.
By the way;
See the movie "Harold And Maude".
And why not have the woman instead of the man be the older one?
As long as the younger is of legal age;
18 plus in civilized places.

my grandfather;
was born in 1860.
Her mother was not born until 1909 and when they married he was about 73 and she was 18.

Most folks' family trees would need to go back 6 generations or more. 
LOL.....some people have said grandpa could not have fathered 7 children at his age. However the proof is obvious that he was indeed the father!
Two of his sons by my grandmother were practically copies of him appearance wise.
Then there is my brother and several cousins and wow; we see more copies of grandpa in the appearance department! Yes, our lives are too short in this realm.
I see people's souls and not simply their physical form or their body age.
It can be quite heart wrenching sad too; so very very bittersweet and precious;
to meet people as I have;
who are so easy to love;
but the 7 to 9 decades gaps pose serious problems with having more than a soul connection instead of a physical/intimate one.
Oh there can be romance but as I said, it is bittersweet.
