You left him a LOOONG time ago, years and years, but have remained friends and that seems to be working better than your failed relationship. You two sit there in bar, sipping away, the Tipsy Level is at a 3 of 10. You discuss love and relationships and his marriage and then your ex blurts out: "I am gay! Haven't you f ucking realized that??!" You look like this: O.O
Now, your ex is a very manly man, nothing gay about him that would stand out. He is a super manly Leo-Leo! He is God's gift to women personified. He is also very prominent in his very manly business where men like to be seen with women to boost their status.
Knowing all this, what do you think about what he said? Drunk and joking? Drunk and serious? You dated eachother for 7 years and lived together all of those.

Totally depends on his face/voice/body language and the aftermath.Didn't you ask him if he was being serious? Could have been a joke, but not everyone can joke with such things. Could have been dead serious, such things happen. A bit weird he's still married though. IP: Logged |

He was dead serious when he said it. Looked slightly sad but it vanished quickly. He's wife owns 51% of his company so he's keeping her around. Sad but true.
