When I see some of the most amazing people on here struggle with depression, it makes me think, too.
I went numb when I was 14 years old. That happens when you have trauma. You feel like you exist in fog.

People seem to think charts are something other than themself. When you have a Jupiter/Neptune Opposition, that is one way it may take form.When you have a Mars/Uranus Conjunction, you may feel like you are constantly carrying a lightning rod. I can only imagine what that might feel like, especially with them all together. On top of that Mars was out of bounds. This for a Cancer, Moon in Pisces? You have the same placement Ami Anne.Out of Bounds is beyond the limits, someone who goes beyond the prescribed limits of societal thinking. It can go in different directions, depending on many factors. But someone who thinks outside the box in one way or another. Physically, it is when a Planet goes further up or down than the Sun. Anytime Ami.Robin Williams totally reminds me of my Brother. It's funny, cause I just read that cocaine affected him in an opposite manner, it settled him down. I remember when my Brother was young, and they gave him an upper to settle him down. Funny how things act like that. IP: Logged |

Well, my Brother is doing fine now, though it really took a lot to shake him out of it.I think the thing that keeps him on the right track is Order. Keeping busy with something worthwhile, instead of dwelling on the negative and thinking far too much. That thinking can really get to you. Nerves and all. IP: Logged |

Not to go too deeply into religion but Ami I know you are a Christian like myself. There are several stories in The Bible about depression and a few of those people had suicidal thoughts. The way I look at it is this way, we are all here for a reason, that reason being a lesson for others, for ourselves, we really don't know. Life is not promised to anyone on this Earth. Although depression and suicide are EXTREMELY sad and devastating there is a lesson to be learned from both. Happiness, aside from love(I mean generally), is the best and greatest feeling in the world. If we all spread our happiness and love to one another and lifted each other the world would be a much better place. There will always be evil lurking around the corner, it's just up to people whether or not they succumb to it, and the people surrounded by that person help lift them through it and help prevent it. I'm not at all saying that I'm an angel or the greatest person in the world, I have things that I'm working on just like everyone else. I've been depressed and know what it's like. If I could stop anyone from doing something permenant or harmful to themselves I'd do it in a heartbeat and hope others would do the same. That is lovely, Barbie. I can say that God has really helped me to go deeply inside myself and change a little. It is super slow but I am starting to get self esteem and starting to let go of some of the ideas that I am worthless. To me, the bottom line is that God does not make junk and He loves me( all of us) so much, so I am really being out of His will to hate myself.

Good for you Ami I'm very happy and proud of you.
God loves all of us. I pray for everybody, the nonbelievers and wrong doers are always first, I think it's always best to pray for those that don't know better. Ellyn Abimelech-Judges 9:54, Samson-Judges 16:30, Saul-1Sam 31:54 and the next verse, Judas-Matthew 27:5.
