Religious people live opposite of love.

And love is God.

God isn't following a religion.

Love reveals every truth you ever wanted to know.
Where is love found? Inside your heart. Since love is God, God exists inside everyone's heart, but they do not listen or acknowledge that divine love. That spark of life, immortality, that beats the human heart.

We don't need your fogged preachings. How can one get nasty yet say what you said, mock my statement and be disrespectful, where's the love in that? Practice what you peach. I've yet to my force my beliefs on anyone here.

Why don't we just drop this whole religion digging and carry on with the original topic. This doesn't lead to anywhere but getting the thread closed.

We're trying to move forward and who's still attacking?
You all...
So remember that the next time you want to accuse US of instigating.

"Attacking"?
It went from being a normal disscussion (two opposing sides), to the anti-abortion side just giving up and saying "let's agree to disagree" and posting GIFs instead of arguing back, while acting emotional about it (do not say this is not true, I don't feel like adding more quotes to my message), then going "Look, we know we're right", and now complaining about being attacked. While religion gets put on the table, too.

This is ridiculous. Can't we just actually discuss it, instead of acting like opposing arguments are insults, or before it becomes a debate about religion? Pretty please?

EDIT: I am not pretending I am some know-it-all who is right. But I've seen more civilized debates on boards aimed at more childish activities than astrology. This got derailed within two pages.

Yes they are fogged for you.

I wasn't mean at all even though i said i felt like i was... I just said be quiet if you don't have any valid points besides 'thats my beliefs and thats all' I'm always truthful. Sorry if the truth hurts.

I didn't aid in what I said because I didn't want to turn this into a religious war, because this isn't the place for it nor is it necessary. What's it doing beside getting panties and drawers in a bunch of knots?

It's always the non-believers who get the nastiest, clearly irate and then try to use your own beliefs and teachings against you like all of the believers are just gonna stop and agree with them. Just stop it, it always has the same ending.

Yes Tux, thats how i see it.

Responding in the way Barbie does about her beliefs is about as amateur as they come.

How can you know God if you don't even know yourself. A question worth pondering.

If my friend gets raped, I'm going to be there for her and if she needs Plan B or an abortion, my a.ss will be there to support her.

Abortion also saves lives too.

Edit: Karka, sometimes I forget you are a teenager, cause: If anyone says this is a "punishment" for having sex at a young age or before marriage how come women get physically punished but men do not?

You mean the ending where the believer ends up looking like an irrational fool and getting their feelings caught up in it? Notice how they always say, "just stop. read about it yourself" or "this is a dead end". The non-believer opens their mind for discussion but only when it comes from logic and not personal feelings.

I may be going highly personal here, but this is only an observation, with no offense implied:

I have noticed barbiegirl (as well as Ami Anne) have a tendency to get involved in debates, then quickly give up arguing back and instead acting stubborn and/or acting all nice (sometimes being passive-aggressive too).

Example here: the debate was going relatively well until page 2, where KarkaQueen argues back against barbiegirl and the latter considers the former is trying to force her opinion on her, which was certainly not true (she was only arguing back, check page 2 if you do not see it). Then Karka's other responde somehow came off as a snarky comment to barbiegirl too. And then it all became "posting that the debate cannot go on further while posting GIFs and acting all nice".

If you have "strong opinions and are not scared to say them" but you can't have a debate without being emotional, just keep your opinions for yourself or try to control your emotions better and not see everything as an insult against you. But please, please stop being so stubborn if you are not going to keep debating.

Again, this is not a personal insult to either barbiegirl or Ami Anne. But seeing a thread getting derailed so early is amazing.

Oh, can I just say that barbie and I had this EXACT conversation with another, older couple who are friends. (started from the Hobby Lobby ordeal)
They disagreed with us and no common ground was ever found with it. However, it went NOTHING like this and in fact we all went out to dinner and hung out.

If that tells you anything about your behavior and yourselves in general.
(or just the internet lol )

We're not.

There's a reason for that.

You're not friend material.

I stooped to your level. Is that what you've been wanting?

I'm disappointed in the leaders of this forum. This is why many people don't come to SP.

Discussions like these don't belong here, period. They always end in one direction.

Exactly.
First post and it should have been gone.

People argue that discussions should be left open and maybe it's still technically a discussion.
But Imo it doesn't belong here and it certainly isn't a healthy discussion. Never was going to be from just reading the topic.

How many times do we have to fall before we actually learn from threads like these?

You're mistaken. You're the one that is a level below me. A plethora of levels below me.

but I honestly don't see the point of lowkey shading me and the other people that agree with me by saying "this shows your personality and blah blah".

You started the personal insult, I just brought it back.

Instead chose to insult me still.

I'm for ending the pregnancy in its early stages.

You can't just give it to someone who 'wants' the kid. There are too many kids and too little people wanting the kids.

Sure, it's not like it can go back on track anyway.
But it will happen again if this thread came again. And that is a problem.

But it got derailed because someone got offended at a counter-argument that was not offensive. More importantly, I am replying to that someone. Why not try to react differently, first?

Discussions like these generally go sour because someone becomes too strong about their opinion. But it all happened because of one misunderstanding here, which heated everyone up.

Not true Karka brought religion up and then all of the non-believers attack those that do.

These threads always end the exact same, closed.

Rajji got exactly what they wanted Anarchy!
