I don`t have a poster to post so I`m adding Teasels and my favorite from

Don Miguel Ruiz:

* Be Impeccable With Your Word*

Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

* Don't Take Anything Personally *

Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

* Don't Make Assumptions *

Find the Courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

* Always do your Best *

Your best is going to change from moment to monent; it will be different when you are as healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse and regret.

This wise man who also wrote "The Mastery of Love"

Perfect!

This...right here... is my... swag.

Seriously what I've always wondered how people don't get that others are not this one-dimensional person. People will look at me and be like "you changed," and I think "But you never really knew me to begin with so how could I change?" Aggrivating but I try to remember not everyone analyzes as much as I do.

well, technically swag has multiple meanings. It can mean you agree with something a lot, you like something, but it also represents confidence too. It's a song by a rapper named Soulja Boy called "Pretty Boy Swag."

The Rumi quote you like and it gives confidence.

Thanks for explaining as I never would have got it!

Brilliant as ever, o wise one!

Yes, just let it all wash over, or through you.

...through thick or thin.....

don't get 'caught up' in it.....

re: the Don Miguel Ruiz Agreements

Seems pretty simple to follow. Imagine how different the world would be if people did.

The 4 Agreements are worth printing out and framing, reading and following - or trying to everyday, at least.

Thanks for reminding.

I could've written that myself. Well said. It's easy to forget how much deeper the other person goes and judge them only at face value or go by the small glimpses we get to see of them. I guess we can only remember when we try to look at others the way we wish they'd look at us - more honestly and past the human part of us...

btw, I had a loose rough understanding of the word "swag" - I always imagined it derived from the word "swagger" : confidence, coolness.....one struttin' their stuff.....

I'm glad to know it's many meanings now
...& can see how Rumi could evoke that.

Ladies,

Inspiring thread!

Swag.
I was stuck on it`s meaning .

I only knew a swag as a curtain part between the panals, "perhaps" a drape.

Other than that, I have heard it used as that`s a "swag" = scienctific wild azz guess.

So, as un-hip as always, I ask
