Blaming the law is similar to blaming on religion, when in fact it is people that have always been pulling the strings.Step back and see the bigger picture, then pierce through the core. When the root problem is resolved, everything else will fall neatly in place. When humanity has evolved, we wouldn't even need any laws. IP: Logged |

Until Utopia happens, we all need to educate ourselves on Shariah Law because I doubt anyone here wants to live under it.If someone here does want to live under it, please tell me why  ------------------

^ I read that last article.Can't you see the irony that the guy is exercising freedom of speech of the British law, and that should the Sharia Law roll in, his very outspoken nature would one day land him in the gallows? He is probably aware of this, otherwise why would he put up with those 'crazy' Brits, when he could easily migrate to any other place he perceived to be more highly cultured? IP: Logged |

Further, I doubt that it is easy to implement new laws in a democratic country where everyone has the right to vote. The US could not even bring a ban to guns when naive schoolchildren have been mindlessly killing their classmates and teachers time and again. They wouldn't even protect kids while in school, and what's the purpose and importance of this Sharia Law in the society again?IP: Logged |

You would be SURPRISED the hostility I get when I simply try to educate people. Actually, there is danger of Sharia Law coming to civilized societies I will find some articles for you in the coming days! ------------------

Actually this post was meant to be a discussion on the meaning of life as one faces death. Perhaps not as deep as Victor Frankl's book of the same title, but from a perspective of a young girl facing injustice and how she had changed through the trials and tribulations in the 7 years preceding her death. Unfortunately the thread was derailed into something else..
