I love one period in history, only. The rest I find boring, not to make myself look bad lol

I like Henry the 8th and his 6 wives. I was very interested in Anne Boleyn but I have expanded it to all of the wives.

It is interesting that the self centered, frivolous ones( Ann Boleyn and Catherine Howard) got killed and the two who were gracious and concerned with others escaped.

The ones who escaped were Anne of Cleaves( 4th wife) and Katherine Parr (last wife).

I don't believe in past life karma because I am a Bible believer. I believe once to live and once to die,but this is interesting as to present life karma!

you my lady are an old soul. you should be more open minded. energy never dies you know this. why would we not come back more than once? why would we just experience life once? we must experience everything and be everything in order to develop compassion and wisdom for each other and ourselves as a human race. Not to get off subject.

well i remember my last life. it was in the 80's and i died in a car accident and i had a vision of it. i was driving and a semi truck was there and i didn't see the end but i definitely got ran over or something.

weird thing is I've been doing my name lexxigram and funny i found the words: I DIE IN A CAR.

I have also been many other things. Many times. It's nice to remember.

Sry to get off topic. But i agree, I love those times as well.

I don't want to argue the past lives but the Lexigram is amazing!

Very affected by this time as well. I wouldn`t say though I "like" it.

I remember that time I visited the Tower. A more than creepy experience.

That's really interesting. I'm most attracted to the Wild West period because it sounds like an adventure. I would like to travel back in time to that period - at least in theory..
Although I have a feeling in practice it would be highly frustrating to have no technology and so much lawlessness.

That is so interesting Odette. Did you ever see the series Deadwood.
I hated it!! I could not stand the Wild West.

It was so lawless that it upset me lol

You should check it out.

The word "like" may not be right. Fascinated may be better, Ceri.

I would love to see the Tower and all the castles. Did you see those?

So, you could really pick up the vibes at the tower.

Who is the wife you find most fascinating? This question goes to Athene too and everyone who is interested.

Btw, you look lovely in your pics, Ceri!

Ami Anne, this is probably incredibly off topic... however, I was thinking about it today and you have opened the door for me to step in and ask. Do you believe that an individual can be religious and practice that prediction and/or divination?

This is not a trick question - there isn't a right or wrong answer. I do not even know the answer to the question, but I just find the views on it interesting and I can see that you are a Christian

I appreciate that you feel comfortable to ask me.

This is what I feel. There is a spirit world of God ( and angelic beings) and a spirit world of darkness.

You have to be really careful not to call the forces of darkness into your life.

Astrology is a science,

I think the charts were given by God as blueprints for our lives, so the charts are "religious" in that sense.

I think God gave us the charts like he gave us herbs, natural medicine etc.

If God gave us something, it is good.

If it is from the dark side, it may seem enticing but it will hurt us, in the end.

I am not a psychic, per se. I am a Born Again Christian/Messianic Jew who is filled with the Holy Spirit and had gifts and one is that I can feel things that are going to happen.

I would not to tarot. I would not call up the dead. These could open the dark side imo

I hope that answers the question but you can ask more if you care to.

Historical as in what interests me on an academic level:

13th Century. Or to be more precise, 13th century Islamic Spain; One of the primary sources through which the Renaissance came to be. I would have loved to meet Averroes (Ibn Rushd; Better known as "The Father of Secularism.")

Incidently he is an ancestor of mines (From my Mom's side.)

Historical Era that I would love being a part of:

None. The past is the past and while one can learn a great deal from it, dwelling in it is just counter-productive. It can't be changed. What can be changed is the future and I would rather be part of that change .

Tudor era is fascinating, but like Elizabethan more. There is this saying that the greatest gift Henry 8 gave to England was Elizabeth

As for my favorite era, I think it would be Jazz ages in 1920ies, also known for flapper fashion. I believe it was neptune in leo generation, so that would add leo flare to neptune glamour. Love it.

I need my showers, and other things too much - I wouldn't last in another time period. Especially if a man could get away with beheading me, instead of divorcing.

I used to be fascinated by things like that - history was one of my favourite subjects - but it's too brutal for me.

Just stopping to say "hi"!

Also, I believe in reincarnation and like someone once said, "if you don't believe in it in this life..you will in your next."

Like DF I have always been fascinated by the world wars era. When I was younger I used to listen to old men tell war stories for hours and hang on their every word. I am also interested in the era between the 1500s-1800s in America. It seemed like those times were good times to be an explorer and have adventures. A man could just set off walking or riding a horse and discover places/things he had never seen before and if he found a place he liked he could build a shelter and live there and live off the land. I used to read "The Sacketts" series by Louis La'mour when I was a boy and idealized that pioneer lifestyle.

I like the 1780s~1880s France and her colonies, it is always an interesting read. I don't care for Victorian England though.
