Like I just wrote a good friend of mine. We are coming up on a full moon, which is a good time to try to take it easy.

Yep. We're in the shadow period right now. I was just coming back to recommend finding something to make him laugh, once he's feeling a bit better. I put on something like the Gilmore Girls as my digital "comfort food" - or another favourite. Holy hell...Managed two and a half hours of sleep before my Virgo roommate woke me up.  Running around in his usual frantic hurry, trying to do enough for five people, shaking his head in consternation at those of us who don't. I can hear his tick-tock mind, all he's thinking about is what he believes I'm supposed to be doing for him. Doesn't matter that I felt like I was going to die. Doesn't matter that my eyes still hurt from being open for too long or that my head feels like it's got an axe buried in it. As I walked through the hallway after stumbling outside and smoking a cigarette, he was already trying to lay Something Else To Do on me. I tell ya, Earth signs have always been so kind to me. Just thinking about them, I feel warm and fuzzy all over. Hey, at least my thinker's back online. But I still need sleep. Why do we have to sleep? It's such an inconvenience. And what in godlessness' name are you two posting anything in response to me for? Phoniness is disgusting. And very transparent. You hurt someone and then come around cooing in sympathy? But, of course, this is just a big social cotillion, and you've got to save face, don't you? I can be accused of a lot of things (and have been), but being insincere and pandering to my public image aren't two of them. Thank goodness for having lived a life that was difficult and painful enough to teach me what real integrity is. IP: Logged |

I was actually sincere. You tried to hurt my feelings earlier, and you did the same to others. I've been there - I used to drink chamomile tea, and cover myself with a heavy quilt and blanket. I also need a fan, and usually fall asleep with a TV on, muted or on low.I didn't do anything to you, but would you feel better if you'd hurt people in your thread? I doubt it. I'm exhausted, too, and I've been through absolute **** over the past four/five years, you are not the only one. I've dealt with **** here, too, but I do actually see people with good hearts and minds, that try to help others. Integrity is something that T and I both have; if you knew anything about us, you would know that. I hadn't even thought that I needed to "save face". IP: Logged |
