I read Fenia's thread and it reminded me what frustrates me about some of the members of this forum. Her thread was obviously a pot shot at me. The interesting thing was she specified that she didn't want me to post in the thread because of my views about women when she was posting something negative about men. This will inevitably cause a lot of whining to Randall about shutting down her thread. This whole thing has grown predictable. So my point is you can't have it both ways! If you are going to try to get Randall to censor me and Ami you should play by the rules too and not take pot shots at us. In case anyone hasn't noticed I haven't started any negative threads on this forum in a long time. So quit trying to get drama started so you can point the finger at me. I am a busy man with school and don't have time for all this nonsense. So play nice people. And that goes for everyone. Don't be a jerk to someone and try to say they are the one with the problem.IP: Logged |

No it wasn't about you. I wanted to share my feelings cause i saw a documentary that haunted me and it happens to know yours and Amys thoughts about women.. I know it's impolite to ask you not to comment but Truth is i need some positive influence right now and some sympathy from people that care. I don't have time for more cruelness so i didn't want you get in the way.
Also,I was specifically talking about men that hurt women, not about all men.I definitely do not consider myself a man hater. It happens that I like men and i'm in a good relationship with a decent guy at the moment, so don't think that i share your perspective about heterosexual relationships.I just read that you had a contention in this forum, i didn't know about that cause i didn't visit for about a month. So, there is a misunderstanding that i try to start a fight or something.. Never mind, i'll talk about my concerns in another place.. In general, like i've said before i don't think this forum can function with Amy as moderator and encouraging sexism, racism, and religious beliefs all the time. I only participated cause i saw some posters with similar mindset as mine, but if "the fish stinks from the head" then things can't go well. So, I assume this thread is eventually going to be about cooking and music .. so be it.

I don't understand your logic for posting that. What were you trying to imply? That guys who express frustration with women are narcissistic and potential canibals and psychos? Well there are plenty of guys that are frustrated with women and aren't psychos, narcissistic, or canibals. At any rate, the article you posted was very biased and had an agenda to demonize guys who are romantically and sexually frustrated. But let's pretend that guys who are angry at women are narcissistic. If guys that are angry at women are narcissistic wouldn't that mean that women who are angry at men are also narcissistic? Because there are lots of women who are angry at men. And women are more apt to be openly angry at men because they are allowed to be angry. It's politically incorrect for men to be angry at women. Perhaps part of your frustration its that you read personal digs into impersonal comments? Fenia has said the thread wasn't about you...and unless you are an extreme misogynist who eats female flesh I dont see how you could think it was about you, but you refuse her explanation. .. preconception can be a b*tch and really lead to misconception.IP: Logged |
