I truly try to give what I can to people who need it. The last instance were GIFTS I gave to someone and then when I stopped, the person started demanding them. It is too long of a story to go into the particulars. The point is the title of this thread. Why does this happen? Is it just human nature? Do I just need better boundaries when people DEMAND what I, previously, wanted to give freely.------------------

I guess it's kinda like when dogs get accustomed to treats/snacks at a certain time of day, and they get it regularly. They become demanding and rude when they don't get it anymore. IP: Logged |

I have a progressed Scorpio ASC. The Libra ASC is too people pleasing. Really and truly, the Libra ASC bends over backwards until they flip over. The Scorpio ASC seems like they look out of Al Pacino's eyes  ------------------

It depends on the person. Some people will take a mile if you give them an inch. Those are typically the self centered selfish type. But there are people out there that wont take you for granted.I used to be too nice, then I had enough and became a total b----. Now I am trying to fine the balance of being nice and sticking up for myself. The thing is its hard to put your foot down while things are going on and before its too late. It's easier to close myself off. But that reminds me of the thread about judgemental people and I try not to be that way.... so I dont know. IP: Logged |

That's why I became colder and distant. I love to be a confidant and giving tips and help whenever I see someone in distress.
But some people still confuse my sweetness from Pisces ASC/ Cancer planets with weakness and rudely demand more and more of me...

I KNOW. I noticed something with the one person I talked about and I notice this with others. If I am kind and try to do good for people and they take advantage of me, something bad will happen to them
In this case, I was giving this person money because I felt she needed it. When I stopped, she got really demanding. Hence, I stopped giving what I did and she ended up getting even 25% less than that
I need to let God take care of things more.
