It is extremely important to me. If you don't have a sense of humor, I stay in my shell and put on a professional face. This is bad in the realm of friendship, because I won't open up at all. I am 95% more likely to open up to someone that makes me laugh my butt off.

Similar for me and I will add that being able to take "off color" jokes, even sick and twisted sense of humor is a plus!

I especially love trying to make people laugh while they're drinking something, while they're in the middle of an important phone call, or during a very inappropriate time to laugh.

You are so cute, CP. I used to have a lot more nerve in my sense of humor. Then, I got insecure that people would think I was weird, so I backed off. I think my goal is to be a lovable little weirdo again

Haha yea, I'm definitely weird. Sometimes I have to check myself though, I've even tried to make people laugh right after hearing about a death - I can't help it! I made my sister laugh while she was in the middle of a phone interview for a job. She didn't speak to me for a couple weeks, haha!

If people don't wanna laugh and criticize my humor, chances are I won't get along with them on other levels too.

YES, I find that venus connections show similar sense of humor BUT the best connection for a laughing buddy is Moon trine Moon.

Don't worry about people judging you, Ami. Who's living more - the person being themselves or the ones sitting around judging everyone?

Hmm, you may be right about the moon trine moon and venus connections. The sister I mentioned above has Aqua moon trining my Libra moon. We also both have scorpio mercury. We usually laugh together about a lot of things, but I really p*ssed her off when she was on the phone, haha. I definitely laugh a lot with Scorpio suns/moons too. And Sags.

I don't get along with my Aries sister. She rarely laughs at my jokes. And if she does, she won't admit that it was because I was funny. She even criticizes my approach to humor. She never tells jokes herself. Pretty lame.

Yes, I had two people I could look across the room and die laughing about NOTHING.

One had Moon trine Moon, exact, my son.

We could not go anywhere, without something stupid striking our funny bone and dying laughing.

I have a girlfriend with the exact same thing. We have been to funerals, gatherings in which you don't want to laugh and we die laughing, especially when you are not supposed to.

She is a Pisces Sun and I think a Scorpio ASC, but I don't know her moon.

If it were Pisces or Scorpio, it would trine my Moon.

I think she is a Scorpio moon because she has that stare and is a real force lol

I find it easier to make people laugh at funerals when I'm a total stranger (funeral crashing).

I wish my mom shared my sense of humor. She laughs at things, but they're a bit on the prude/dry/old fashioned side. I'm into the stuff that's really wrong!

Yes. I appreciate good humor. My s.o has the lord of humor sitting on his head. He has saved his own a-s from getting roasted by me so many times I've lost count.

Most of the time, he makes me laugh and I forget everything. Sometimes the pure absurdity that he even dares to make a joke in such a terrible time (and in the face of danger) stuns me, and I just forget my rage.

Yeah, I can even laugh of not so funny stuff that happens to me.
But I'm starting to realize it makes people think I'm childish or something lol.

Humor isn't that important to me. I like to remain serious and not confuse situations. But if it's hilarious, I'm goin to laugh! Lmao

I'm also a humor-fake . Not sure if that's a word but when I'm on the Internet or playing on my phone
, I like to put lol to lighten up what's been written or to not offend them
Or to just keep them happy

Because when you laugh it shows your happy and enjoying yourself so I laugh a lot
But the truth is I don't often enjoy myself
Which is ironic

Lol that's something I need to work on!!!

I think a sense of humour is very important, and when you find someone who clicks with yours... it's such a great feeling!

Yes, sometimes I may laugh at the wrong things, many people do.
Or at myself (which is a healthy thing to do), or with (not at) others when, for example, I do get their underlying intentions for doing this or that. I'm rather observant and I simply find it amusing how some people are open books.

Astrologically, I think a similar sense of humor is Venus in good aspect, but it may be the Moon, as well.

I laugh all the time at all the wrong stuff. I tell tasteless, bigoted jokes about people and groups, especially my own. Or my jokes have crude sexual content (Dave Chappell is right up my alley, but there's another guy, Kat Williams, who makes me cry) My poor children (and mother), who could run for the conservative party, usually try to talk over me and/or plug their ears, and scold me!

We also just innocently play and laugh.

The fact is I am very direct and candid with my children about life, responsibility, etc. I like to/need to lighten things up a bit, quite a bit.

-----

In relationships an incompatible sense of humor is a deal breaker. And that goes both ways because I can be scary. I need a man who thinks I'm funny and who can make me scream, at least once, so I know he has it in him.

At the beginning of this relationship he told a joke that fell flat, and I was like, 'oh no. How can I get through a lifetime of fake laughing? This might not work. Even though he's wonderful in so many other ways, can I live like this???!?'

Turns out his sense of humor is just as naughty as my own and he was awkwardly censoring himself. He's a friggin riot!

VERY!! I have a sarcastic, biting and sometimes very "off" sense of humor and I really don't mesh well with people that are too sensitive. I think most Caps have a somewhat strange sense of humor sometimes?
