Like Roberta Flack sang... "Let Them Talk". They obviously don't have better things to do with themselves than to put down others behind their backs. That's just a sad existence, really.

I would probably confront them about it. Part of the satisfaction for backstabbers is being "safe" from the consequences of being upfront. Once they're exposed, they'll be embarrassed and feel guilty. Maybe get a double agent relative to tape record one of their sessions. And then play it in front of them at the next gathering.

And then move on with my life, knowing the kind of people they are. Won't be sticking my neck out for them.

Yep. I'm alright.
It was to do with family betrayal. I'll deal with that.

Off topic:
There's was a thread in Astro 2.0 about the New Moon in Scorpio. The new moon landed on my North Node and I mentioned that I feel like I need to go in new directions. I needed to review what my time goes into and how to better distribute my energy. Some restructuring you might say. Or some things need to go entirely.
Since that new moon, I haven't forgotten that. In fact, it really won't let me forget that. I've resisted but I need to stop.
I feel like I need to step away from this place. Not a break because I've done that. I've been reminded twice in the last couple of weeks why I need to. It's time to buckle down and get serious.
Hopefully my last post. At least for a long, long while.
