Aqua men are great! They are not possessive. They give you freedom.
But there are little quirks that really can not make me understand.
If you could give some insights please....
It would be long. Kindly bear it with me.

For the last five years my husband and I had shared our home in China with guests from all over the world. Kind of Airbnb but we had dorm beds also. It was very late - about 2:30 in the morning. I was still waiting for two guests from Europe. Three of our guests were still chatting in the living room.
The guests - two young men - arrived and I asked them for their passport for check-in.
That was when one of them realized something. He has left one bag inside the taxi.
"Okay," I said. "I'll call the taxi."
See, ten minutes ago the driver called me for direction. I had his number in my phone.
Dialing...
Disconnected.
What the heck!
I tried again. The same thing happened. Huhh!
"What did you have inside the bag?"
"Passport. No money but my laptop was there!”
I kept pushing the dial button. Phone turned off!
"Call the police! I need to call the police!!!"
Loud voice. He started to get panicked.
F--k! What should I do? Think fast! Police was the last thing that I wanted right now!
"Calm down. I will help you. No police. It did not happen here. Do you have the receipt? We call taxi company."
"No. But I had the high-way fee receipt."
I studied it. No taxi number. Only time and date and name of highway and charge fee.
"Okay! We go back to airport. We checked for taxi number. They should have a camera there."
Anything to get them out from here!
"Okay!"
"Is there something we could help you with?" One Indian guy from Madagascar asked.
"It's okay. We could handle it I guess."
Okay - this is not even my country - yes I have lived in this very city for the last ten years but I have never dealt with the police. I did not even know the number to dial.
Mister - the one that I usually turned to in these case - had just finished work at 24:00 and would had morning shift. I did not want to disturb his sleep. His mobile was turned off. Turning it on will get the welcoming tune ringing.
So I took the wireless land phone from the living room and put it on my side of the bed. Just in case.Just in case.
And off we go - to the International Departure of the Airport. The two young men and I.
Taxi dropped us off.
We searched for airport security number.
"No, taxi number does not appear in the camera. Call the police."
Okay. I called the number. One officer found us 10 minutes later. I explained the situation and gave him the driver's number
He called.
Somebody answered! Finally!
I heard him informing the driver - we could sue him of theft. He listened...then turned to me.
"The driver still has your friend's bag. He would drop it to your place."
This time, my head was clear. No, not at my place. I would want the police to be with me when the driver return the bag. I turned to the young men and translated to them. I proposed that the taxi should come to the airport, returned the bag, and took us back home. With the meters on. Win-win. They gave the driver good income this night. The young man was more than happy to agree.
So, a happy ending.
It turned out that the driver had another passenger when I tried to call him. He was driving so he did not take the call and then turned off his phone.
We were lucky that this driver saw the new passenger did not carry a bag when he got on he taxi but he took one when he got off. He stopped his taxi and asked for the bag back! And so he turned on his phone and then the call from the police officer came in. That lucky!
All ends well. The young guests and I got home at 5:00.
The living room was quiet. All have gone to sleep.
Mister was still sleeping. So I crawled on quietly in the darkness. Searching for the wireless.
Huh? No wireless?
I found the wireless in the living room, neatly placed on the hook.
Huh?
So he woke up in the early morning -between 3 and 5 - found the wireless next to him instead of me, cared to take it back and with no Wife in sight, went back to sleep without giving me a call?
Huh?
I confronted this situation the evening he came home.
He never came with any explanation.
Then.
And now. Five years later when something reminded me of the situation.

Hello Rheanna!

I was married to an Aquarius myself and can tell you that the situation doesn't sound at all odd. At least from what I experienced. It was not because he didn't care, but because he trusts you. My husband never found it strange that after work I would go hang out and have coffee with my coworkers after we got off work which was anywhere from 0100 to 0400. There were more than a few times that he would wake before I even arrived home, but he never called to see where I was. Not because he didn't care, but because he knew that if I had needed him, I would have called and that he had no reason to not trust me.

Some people might find this behavior strange, but Aqua just wants the freedom to be themselves and provides the same freedom in hopes you will return it.

Lionfish,

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is good to know that it is not an unusual trait in Aqua.

I just need to accept the fact that I am safe wherever I am. No need for him to worry about me.

Not odd at all.

I love not being harassed about where I've been, what I've been doing, etc. I love being trusted and left to my own devices - if I need them, I know where to find them. But then again, I am a freedom-loving Aquarius rising myself.
