Topic: Why are some guys so lame?

There's a guy who hangs around the area where I talk to the girl I like at school. I've seen him staring at my girl several times and recently he started talking to her directly.Now, me and this girl aren't officially dating yet. There is just a palpable flirtation and attraction between us that other people can see and sometimes comment on. It is an unspoken thing. I am taking things slow and building a connection. And here comes this guy after months and he is getting in the way. He tries to talk to her about the most inane things. The other day he acted intensely interested in her applied anatomy class. Come on, dude! Nobody is interested in applied anatomy. Not even the people who teach the class. All of his interactions with her are completely asexual. So much so that I told her it is obvious he has the hots for her and she didn't believe me. Why else would he suddenly be hanging around our spot all the time and talking to her? Why else would he be staring at her all the time? This dude is just a nuisance and his harmless asexual nice guy strategy is only effective at getting in my way. Why are some guys so lame? Women dont like low testosterone nerdy guys who pretend to be interested in their classes to inch their way closer to them. I want to punch that guy so bad. Lol IP: Logged |

I used to not understand the women here on Lindaland when they talked about the creepy nice guys with a hidden agenda. Now I understand it after seeing this guy. He stares at her when she isn't looking and never hints at his interest in her even in the slightest way. I let her catch me looking at her and I wink and smile.lol
All of a sudden, he is just hanging around all the time. He was camped out there all last week. And yesterday, he sat in the seat she normally sits in so she might sit by him. I gave him the dirtiest look I could muster when he did that. IP: Logged |

He sounds awkward, insecure, and maybe inexperienced. It's not cool how he's trying to come on to who you're interested in at all, but maybe he's shy or more introverted and doesn't know how to be direct. Everyone has their own struggles.IP: Logged |
