The episode number 49 of the 1960s Spiderman Cartoons was called "Revolt in the 5th Dimension". This is ahead of Star Wars and parallel to "Star Trek" Original Series, and decades before the New Age Movement, definitely decades before Scientologists started pushing their theories.

Even today, the New Age movement considers the 5th Dimension to be totally pure but circumstantial evidence shows that there are Evil/"Game Playing" Entities in the 5th D who are secretly responsible for the mess in the 4th D [Astral] and Chaos on Earth.

So it is very cool to know that such an idea inspired a Spiderman Cartoon.

The trippy music for this cartoon [which ABC refused to air, calling it the most terrifying cartoon ever made] is titled LSD!

What is the subliminal message to Humanity from the inspiring Force of the writers of this episode [who already wrote this for another cartoon named Rocket Robin Hood] ?

1. That refusing to believe/accept the illusion of Powerlessness is the Key to defeating Evil?

2. That only Humanity that Genetically Mutates can thwart higher dimensional evil? Is this this the repeated inspiration for Stan Lee's X-Men Series?
Are Immortal Mutants already calling the shots? The "Man of Action" Group stresses a lot on such themes whether for Marvel Universe or for Ben 10 Omniverse. The messages are targeted towards smart children from developed and developing countries.

So many cool ideas/hidden truths are "transmitted" in one cartoon:

1. Roswell Crash

2. Intelligent ET Life

3. Encapsulation of Data

4. Earth as a Planet of Refuge

5. Mind Control using Fear

6. Intelligence Agencies on Earth monitoring Aliens [Spidey speaks of certain authorities which can decode the 'Library of Garth'. Or should it be the Library of Thoth?

7. Destruction of Galaxies by Demonic Forces

8. Evil Entities that want to conquer the Universe

9. Serpent Magic [A Serpent steals the Ring in the cartoon]

10. Descent of Man [Spiderman is "Falling" when awakening from the Illusory Location beyond Time and Space.

Credits are listed at the end. It would be interesting to do Lexigram on the names.

Writer is Bakshi. I looked up name origin and it is most commonly from India and 2nd most commonly Jewish.

A comment there claims Bakshi was a survivor of the Holocaust (Shoa), but it doesn't look like it going by this (obviously Haifa wasn't part of Israel when he was born). He was alive then but also very young and likely not even aware of it until after the fall of Berlin (if even then).

Ira also worked on the Taarna story in Heavy Metal, now there's an animated movie about evil from another dimension affecting our world...

As for Lin Carter and Fred Halliday, it looks as if they were just for Spiderman.

in the same view as IQ's post, the comic strip Dick Tracy in the 1960's features a character who was a industrialist(howard Hughes?) who travel in flying saucers and had a two way wrist television/radio. it seemed very fsr out especially in the 60's but.....

Hello,

Once again:

This same story line and art was used in an episode of Rocket Robinhood. The episode was titled. "Dimentia 5".
