Jennifer is scheduled for brain surgery on the 8th of January. The Doctor's found a tumor that is pressing upon the nerve that controls the tongue. Without surgery, she could lose her ability to swallow. My brother very seldom gets too upset..... but this one has done him in!! It makes me cry to think of his anguish! Jennifer just graduated from nursing school 2 weeks ago. It was a long road and big challenge for her.
One and half years ago she was operated on for colon cancer. She survived that ordeal and has been doing well post partum and after extensive chemo.
Please pray for her.....she is really a beautiful person! She tells her Aunt Judee not to worry, but I can't help it!  JUDEE IP: Logged |

JENNIFER'S CONDITION.......  My niece made it through the surgery okay. She has a hole the size of a quarter in her head. The Doctor's removed the tumor and it wasn't cancerous.  A few things hopefully will be temporary. She can't feel her shoulder or arm. Her tongue is kinda flipped over from normal position and her eyes roll around. My brother called last night and he seems to be optimistic. Jen will be in the hospital for another week. I am still praying for a full recovery with none or little handicaps. THANKS EVERYONE AGAIN! I told my brother about all of you and your white light, angels and prayers. He is very grateful! My brother Charles is a very good person and the closest relative I have left. We have never been very close since we are opposites, but when you have a child in a crisis, you respond with all your heart. I love my niece very much and her 2 sisters. I have worked hard at being a good aunt and couldn't imagine experiencing a loss/crisis of any of my own 4 children. I am sure all of you mom's know what I mean! LOVE AND PEACE TO YOU ALL!
