Aurora~ RIGHT ON! Fruit, is the perfect food Someone quoted the bible here yesterday, but it's worth repeating and most appropriate here... "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat..." Genesis 1:29 Interestingly, the Bible goes on to say... "And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I hae given every green herb for meat; and it was so" Genesis 1:30 Makes one wonder what, why, how it came to be there are meat eating beasts on Earth ~Princess ------------------ ~We can try many ways to get rid of the darkness, but none is as effective as simply increasing the light.~ UnkNown IP: Logged |

According to Linda, animals began to mimic man (after the fall). It can then be reasoned that carnivores began to acclimate to their new diets through evolutionary change and adaptation. ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |

Thanks Randall... Hmmmmmm... Further evidence of the profound affects of the transference of energies, as the water crystal photos show us Just think of the implications if everyone refused to have a negative thought !Wouldn't it be cool to be *able* to declare a day of nothing but peaceful, loving, positive thought and action across the globe... and if there were a way <perhaps there is> to photograph EARTH'S aura before and after this day, I wonder what the difference in her aura would be like ~Princess ------------------ ~We can try many ways to get rid of the darkness, but none is as effective as simply increasing the light.~ UnkNown IP: Logged |

Fruitarianism! What a ridiculous concept! I couldn't stop lauhging when I looked at the website! *Anyone here seen Notting Hill?*Keziah: No thanks, I'm a fruitarian. Max: I didn't realize that. William: And, ahm: what exactly is a fuitarian? Keziah: We believe that fruits and vegetables have feelings so we think cooking is cruel. We only eat things that have actually fallen off a tree or bush -- that are, in fact, dead already. William: Right. Right. Interesting stuff. So, these carrots... Keziah: Have been murdered, yes. William: Murdered? Poor carrots. How beastly! ------------------ You've been taught that there is something wrong with you and that you are imperfect, but there isn't, and you're not. IP: Logged |

Hi - Are any you full time fruitarians? I used to do a 3 day fruit-only fast once a month, during the New Moon. I enjoyed it so much that now I do a one day a week fruit only fast and during the new moon I do a 24-hour total fast. My body always feels cleaner after my fruit-only day and my mind/spirit are so energized after my New Moon fast. I would recommened it to anyone, except little kids. but like all things needs to be started slowly. I have been thinking about increasing my New Moon fast 30 hours. Ideally, I would like to do it for the whole time the moon was in whatever sign it was having the New Moon in. But that would be 2 1/2 days...too long for me at present.Still I think the concept of fasting and purifying is sound, if we listen to our bodies and stay within our present means, making changes gradually....it does take you higher though, like to here and here (Gosh I like these things! ) Cyrstal

Avalon~ I love to make fruit smoothies - the basics are O.J., a whole *ripe* (sweet)banana, and every kind of berry I like - about 1/2 cup each (makes a huge smoothie) into a blender ... sometimes I throw in some yogurt as well. There is no right or wrong way to make them - if it's too thick, add more OJ - too thin, add more fruit !Using fresh berries is wonderful of course, but I also buy all kinds of frozen berries and toss them into one freezer bag so it's handy. I will also cut up banana and freeze that too You can freeze fresh berries - but it's a hassle unless you want them all stuck together, and you don't ~Princess ------------------ "I think the Goddess lives in our humanity, and not anywhere else." ~Merlin's last words - to Viviann ~ . + * + . * . Randall - I'm not sure what Linda said, but God did not give permission to eat meat until after the Flood (presumably because all the plants were dead). For some reason, God didn't tell Noah to take a few seeds or cuttings in the Ark!! Wonder which meat-eating patriarch made up this story?IP: Logged |

Linda's right about the evolution of carnivorism, i think. Like kids, animals reflect what we do. I think their claws and teeth are a reflection of what the idea of meat eating looks like. the dinosaurs were what murder looked like in general. the concept made physical. IP: Logged |

Hey Randall - maybe the animals on the Ark ate all the grains, seeds and cuttings. So, if ya think about it, they actually sorta *deserve* to be eaten! IP: Logged |

I think a better explanation is that there wasn't an ark. In my humble opinion, of course. ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |

The Babylonian account was most likely the original, and all other stories were "stolen" from that. There are a number of scientific reasons why a world-wide flood could not have happened, although localized floods have occurred throughout history. ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been."
