I would like to know if anyone out there has tried the "Magical, Forgotten Fainbow For Overweight Plumpies" on page 235 of Linda's book star signs? I am wanting to try it but cannot find an "opaque, 75-100 watt bulb and want to now can I spray it red and get the same results. Also have a question about being able to eat chili. Chili has ground beef in it, and I thought that was a no, no during this time. Any input anyone has to offer would be very helpful as I must start this soon in order to get the 45 unenteruped days in.Have a great day Tess IP: Logged |

Welcome, Tess! Found your bulbs. Go to the site, and click on the link to the left that mentions the Color Diet. http://www.atlantalightbulbs.com/ ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |

WELCOME to the site, Tess.... Funny you should mention the bulbs. I was in the grocery store the other day and among the light bulbs, there was a red one. Just sitting there in a regular GE box I don't know about the chili...I guess it would depend on which stage you are in. Are you trying to wean off meat? Maybe if you went with ground turkey. ------------------

Tess~ !!! WELCOME !!! I have always Loved that name ! Tess.... reminds me of a ...sigh... As far as the chili goes, you can just leave the meat out. I do, and no one EVER misses it My *meatless* chili competed with about ten others at work one time - my chili was voted the best And, in TEXAS ! Ya know, for overweight carnivors, just omitting meat from the diet will cause you to lose weight - Actually, just omitting one of several items in our diets will cause us to lose extra weight, like *fried foods* or *sugar* Interesting isn't it, that the foods listed for either plumpy or skinny are mosttly fresh fruits and vegis? I think that if humans reversed the quantities of meat and/or carbs with fresh fruit and vegis on our plates, they'd never need to *lose weight* Off subject a bit, but why is it people that want to loose weight say "I'm going on a diet" instead of "I'm changing my diet" ??? If we eat anything, we are always on *a* diet - if we are overweight, it means we are on the *wrong diet* ... And, if we *go on* a diet suggests we can *go off* the diet, then likely regaining all the weight we lost *on* the diet ... To remain constant in a weight range we feel comfortable with, we have to *change* our diets ! Luckily, it's not painful, and ever so bursting with delicious flavor ------------------ "War is not healthy for children and other living things." ~unknown IP: Logged |

Thanks Randall for the sight on the bulbs, will check it out. Hi YIVY, naw, I'm not trying to wean off meat that I put in my mouth, just meat that shows up as this buldge I carry around. I have canned chili at home but it is not meatless. It's not a big thing I just wondered. Princess, that was quite a paragraph on "diet", you sound like me, sometimes I can really get rolling with a topic, it is fun to do, especially if you can see the expressions on the faces of the people you are playing with. I too like the name Tess, that is why I adopted it. I actually choose it from the movie "Guarding Tess" I fully related to the charter Shirley McLane played in that movie and have used the name ever since. Enjoyed talking with ya'll. Till next time. Princess ~Often when people say they are "going on a diet", they mean "trying" a diet. They don't say they are changing their diet, because they don't know if it works or not yet. You wouldn't believe (actually you would)the number of diets that doctors, naturopaths, iridologists, dietitians and other healers have given me to try - to no avail. If any of them had worked well enough to make it worth while, I would have "changed my diet" too. IP: Logged |

PicsesMoon~ That's my point Off subject a bit, but it's interesting that aside from most of our domesticated animals, humans are the only creatures on this earth that don't survive soley on foods in their natural state, or natural to their environs - but we are the only beasts that suffer with obesity - what other life form on this earth *cooks* their food and convolutes it into delightful but toxic, nutrient starved, and chemically fortified concoctions? ~Princess ------------------ "I think the Goddess lives in our humanity, and not anywhere else." ~Merlin's last words - to Viviann ~ . + * + . * .
