First, I have absolutely no medical training...but seems to me that radiation would accelerate the cancer. From what little I understand, it is a race to see which dies first, and the doctors hope it is the cancer.

After all..doesn't radiation cause cancer?

My grandma told me about a girl who had cancer once. The doctors told her there was nothing they could do. (this was in the olden days).
An old lady who knew the family told the girls mother "let her stay with me. I'll heal her".
So the girl went to stay with the old lady. She gave her pure cranberry juice every day. Lots and lots of it. Made her drink it every day, as well as gave her healthy food to eat.
After a few months, the girls cancer was gone
A lot of researchers are linking cancer with our emotional states too. Especially when a person cannot let out or express their resentment. Some believe this turns and actually startes eating away at the person in the form of cancer.
So, it's always good to express ourselves. Not to bury our emotions, especially any chronic resentments we may carry. This especially goes for mothers who care for everybody without thinking of their own needs.

Adwen~ I totally agree with you about expression ... and, very cool about the child healing

Luna... I would like to suggest that you read Anatomy of the Spirt ~ The Seven Stages of Power and Healing, or perhaps even try to contact the author, Caroline Myss, Ph.D. She has helped heal some very *ill* people and has some interesting things to say about the spirit, and healing, and dis-ease Perhaps you will find something there that is helpful

YIVY~ ... but maybe it's like a thing ... I don't agree it's the treatment of choice, but maybe if it is used at the right time, in the right way, it can help ?

Luna~ As you know, I and others here are not Doctors, and you need to do what your S-Elf tells you to do ... listen, and you'll probably hear the answer you are seeking. I don't know about radiation, but I think if it's an operable cancer and the radiation is to be done like an *insurance* thing, and not prolonged ... it might not be terrible? Although, I'd much rather it was't even an option - that medicine would progress along to the point of physical and spiritual treatments, and PREVENTION being practiced instead of the endless battle of attempting to *cure*

Dan?

Same here, I am no doctor. It is said that radiation does indeed kill the good cells plus the bad cells..

I have read juice fasting helps the fight against cancer. Also cleansing the colon does help alot!
one site to look at http://www.godsbanquet.com/fasting_book/

Also , a book to read is Quantum Healing by Deepak Chopra.

Hope you find the answers you are seeking.

lotsa love

I have a sister battling cancer and undergoing radiation right now. I am totally against it and implored her to try alternatives but she wouldnt listen. What can I do? I also believe anti perspirants used especially when armpits are shaved cause toxins to be trapped as it blocks the natural outlet for those toxins. The hair there is for a reason and Australia has one of the highest rate of breast cancer in.the world and more and more young women are contracting it. If your immune system is not very healthy you will be susceptible. There is a pre-disposition at birth according to the extensive research I have done but only those whose immune system is compromised will fall victim. I strongly believe it is not hereditary.
