my mother was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer last fall, a year ago...they gave her chemotherapy which didn't make her sick, no hair loss etc....(she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and had a masectomy)...

anyway, a few months ago, they stopped the chemo because it was aggravating her rhematoid arthiritis..she has that severe...

she had a ct scan the other day and found out that she is in the same place as she was a year ago, and they are starting chemo again..this time though it must be some aggressive therapy as she was told she will loose all her hair...

does anyone just have some positive thoughts? i normally am very positive about these kinds of things, but you know what? i'm beat down, i'm run down...i'm exhausted from worry and depression..i'm severely (in my eyes--the doctors won't give me any meds to help me, so they must not think i'm obese but in my eyes, i am badly overweight)...at any rate, my stepfather has been fighting lung cancer, he was diagnosed last year at this time too...was given 3 months, and received massive amounts of chemo and radiation...

on top of that, my oldest daughter is 12 and very hormonal and smart mouth and just a teenager, but drives me nuts...and my marriage, i'm piecing back together after i thought i'd lose my mind back in July...i still might before this is all over with...

and i just don't have anything positive in my body at this very moment...

Bernadette.....I sense a very kind, gentle spirit in YOU. I see you surrounded by brilliant white lite with a lovely pink border. I see you walking in absolute peace, confidence and happiness, knowing that everything will be just fine for all concerned. You are wrapped in the love of the Universe, the love of all the people on this site, and in the love of Our Creator. I see you having supreme strength within yourself. So much so, that you can share with those around you in need. I see your Guardian Angels standing around you, gently smiling because of the incredible person that you are.

Bernadette

Lots of light to you

I've lost family, including my father, to cancer. I know it's hard. Just try to breathe and calm yourself and your surroundings the best you can (go through the motions even if you don't feel like it- showers and candles help). It sounds like there are alot of difficult issues merging in your life all at the same time. Just try to stay steady and centered. It is important for you to stay serene and positive so that you can be a healthy example for others around you. Also, try to realize that although you can have compassion for and want to help others around you, sometimes there are things that are beyond your control and it is probably best to let go if it is causing you depression. Having compassion and helping others should never make you feel depressed, if it does, it is a subtle warning sign that you are taking on too much of other's responsibilities (which doesn't help them anyway). I don't know if this relates, just wanted to share it.

I will send your daughter light as well.
Have you thought of ways to relate to her better? Does she ever read the boards here at LL?

Well, take care, and love to you...

Pearly

Amanda....*hugs*

I think we will both find a way through these times and come out so much stronger for it. I'll be thinking about you as I'm taking care of myself.

such wonderful things said here...so many wonderful thoughts and ideas presented and i appreciate each and every one of them today! Some days it is a struggle to get out of bed you know, but then I do it and generally something good happens to me that makes me glad I indeed got up.

As far at that white light and angels around me...I do feel that La Tee Da, thank you for reminding me of it, for sometimes the darkness of depression will blind me from it. This board and several people here are becoming very special to me, because I feel the goodness...and that in turn makes me feel good in general.

Thank you Hopeful for the link...I scanned it briefly, but will most certainly read it more closely as time allows.. I have 2 kids and I work! Time is precious.

With that said, I have developed a plan for cleansing beginning this weekend that will carry through next week. At the end of the week, I shall evaluate the situation and go from there...more on that later..

THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE!

*HUGS*

B1216 have a look at nexusmagazine.com and the article about cancer, very interesting reading if you don't want your mother to undergo conventional therapy...discusses laetril (B17) and vitamin C with plenty of footnotes from cancer specialists. You could also look into Royal Raymond Rife, who actually used and proved that his rife machine worked, this was back in the 1930's, I'm sorry that your maother is that ill, I've had people that were close to me die of various forms, and cancer has been successfully cured over and over again by doctors who have the peoples interest at heart, but you can't patent anything that occurs naturally in nature, which is what these doctors have done...the drug companies don't make money off them. Why would the cancer industry that is worth Billions want something that actually worked, it's alot easier to try and cure the disease instead of preventing it , and worth so much more. I'm sorry but this gets me fuming when common diseases that have become rampant could also be non existent.

Whatever path your mother decides to choose, I wish her the best and my sympathy goes out toward her. May she overcome this!

THANK YOU! I will CERTAINLY look into those! and not just for mother but for my stepfather as well...as he is battling lung cancer...

they found out last fall at the same time about their cancers, although his was much more grave and they only gave him 3 months to live...that was on Sept 29th, 2001....and happily he is still with us!! But he has not been cured, only in remission..which is still a good thing...at this point anyway...so...these are good resources for them both...

I guess I was more upset about mom the other day, since her chemo is starting again, and he is not having it right now...its been a very tough year...

One of the interesting things I have discovered after reading numerous articles about cancer is that the people who don't do anything in regards to conventional therapy is they actually live longer than the ones that undergo Chemo, Radiation or Drugs. These just seem to speed up the process and are very poisonous to the body and destroy or severely lower the bodies immune system, making the cancer cells job much easier.

I hope things get better for you Bernadette. I had a sister in law die of cancer and she was like a real sister to me. so I know what you are feeling. These things are hard to go through. You will be in my prayers.

I just wanted to add this wonderful site. I cured myself of breast cancer in 1997 using Essiac. There are many alternative treatments that are curative for cancer. Unfortunately we live in a country (US) where the government supresses this information. Take a look http://www.herbalhealer.com

Worry will destroy you. But you already know that. Most of the time life is not so kind to me that it takes away the things I have to worry about. Instead, to stop worrying means you have to stop caring about everything. Make a list of everything you care about and just tear it up and throw it out. Forget about it. I am not asking you to stop being loving, but to stop trying to force love into containers it will not fit into. Expectations, needs, demands, these things destroy. To expect to live, to hold onto life as if it were yours to own in the first place, is wrong. Accept every day as a gift. Relax your sensibilities, desensitize. Let go. Surrender.

Curing cancer is mostly a prevention thing. You can prevent it by living a correct life, with purity of mind, body, and spirit, avoiding the chemicals that cause it (now everpresent in modern life) and eating healthy food. But once you have cancer, its sayonara sister. The body splits apart by the seams like a pinata of toxins and develops cancer when all hope is lost. Then you wander around, looking for some miracle recovery that never seems to come, and then die really fast and decompose. I could tell you all kinds of practical advice on how to avoid cancer, but who is going to follow it? Most people would just call me an idiot, dismiss me, and go about their life. Since then, I gave up bothering to really share much in-depth. I will say diseased people are toxic sponges, having absorbed as much industrial waste as their cells can take, they finally just shut down. If allowed years (10 to 20 years) to detox, their bodies emit all kinds of gross substances, sickly fluids, mucus, and develop all spectrum of diseases on the way to health.

Sure, the hope for that miracle is there, that light body mastery, that promise of alien and divine intervention. If you want that, make yourself worthy of it. Become a saint, help others, and lose yourself. If you keep being selfish and expecting this and that, forget about any miracle. Some people literally sit around waiting for a miracle to sweep them off their feet. Not going to happen. Certainly never worked for me.

as much as I'd like to think that your message here is to promote some sort of positiveness Mercury, I fail to see it. Rather I sense some deep seeded hurt and unresolve in your own life, that has been stirred unfortunately by something I've posted. And as much as I'd like to say that honestly I feel your response to be harsh, insensitive and coldhearted, I would rather say, that I send love and light to you instead...

for it just sounds like you need it...

Yes I suppose I am being negative. (Thinks) But your forgiving reaction does not seem very sincere or authentic. I do not believe you have forgiven me yet. Anyway, like I said, most people just dismiss me. I leaving the forum. Not your fault of course, but I am just too negative to be around such positive people and you were observant enough to see it.
