I slept with one under my pillow and I had problems with insomnia (which I'm prone to anyway) and generally didn't sleep very well or, more accurately, very deeply, I think. I think it enhanced my nervous energy which is definitely not good for sleeping. Since I removed it, I've been sleeping a lot better. IP: Logged

But nowadays, I seem to be quite used to their energy and I can sleep well at night with a large one placed underneath my pillow. However, I must say that the plate seems to be only effective to me when it comes to treating wounds. If I cut or burn myself, I would place a plate on the wound, and it would heal very quickly, or the pain would stop after a while. But I have never experienced any other benefits that were mentioned in star signs. I also gave a small one to a friend who had very bad migraine, and the plate did not have any effect on her, either. I wonder whether this has something to do with our "density", like the "denser" our spirits are, the less effective the plates are going to be??? Just a thought. 108 IP: Logged

My explanation was that maybe the person is blocking the energy, but I think in Stars Signs Linda says that that's not possible. But with me, I do believe in it, and I "want" to believe in it... could it be like, I don't know how it's "supposed" to feel? Where are my plates I wonder, I used to have a big one and two small ones. I never found them to do anything but they look cool. Nobody ever told me what they actually do to the plates to make them so special. I mean, what do they do to them physically. For awhile I had some problems with my wrist (later discovered it was the keyboard I was using at my new job), I was sick with worry about carpal tunnel (spelling?). So I used the bigger sized one and rested my wrist on it, then made a braclet out of the half dollar size one - to help with the pain until it went away (cuz I got a better keyboard). It REALLY worked and I even slept with my wrist on the larger one until my wrist began to feel better. The entire time it was resting on the plate it felt better. My Twin gets migranes and the plates have helped with that, along with a weird sinus problem he was having - INSTANTANEOUSLY. I can't say that I felt anything unusual the first time I held it but by that night, when should have been tired, I felt energized in a sort of unusual way, alittle jittery. I went to bed with it on anyway and managed to fall asleep without too much trouble. I had a dream of my dead beloved that night, which is alittle unusual. I usually only dream of him if I put consious thought into having a dream of him before I go to sleep. I wore the disk all the next day and then that night, dreamt of him again! I woke up at five in the morning (well bfore my usual wake up time) and had a really, really hard time going to sleep again. So, I'm still wearing the disk and other than the dreams, havent' noticed anything unusual. I tried using it on an old cut that had gotten infected but it didn't seem to do anything. Perhaps 15 minutes wasn't long enough but since it's on my hand, it's sort of hard to keep the disk on it for longer without being completely useless, which is something I don't have time to be with a toddler running around. One thing I am really curious about though, is EXACTLY how the disk is created. I have heard that it is anodized but I would like to know exactly what that means. How is something anodized? And one of the websites that produces the plates made it seem like the anodization is a different process than the one used to make them purple. Does anyone know exactly how anodizing works? To change the chemical structure of something using electricity. So I guess they zap the plates to get them to vibrate in harmony with the universal free energy or whatever. Still sounds kind of phfoo ffooo to me but I am continuing to have extremely intense dreams, sometimes good sometimes bad, whenever I wear the disk to sleep....That's about all I've noticed though.
