http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2003-02-05-smallpox_usat_x.htm Two soldiers develop bad reactions to smallpox shot I know many vaccines have saved many lives, but I have also heard some negative things. If it comes down to it will you guys get the vaccine or not? I do hope the greatest care is being taken with these shots, these are people's lives at stake.

Fajita, I had one as a child & I know that was miserable and scarred me quite badly. As an adult with a choice, a resounding No. How about yours-elf? juniperb IP: Logged |

I would personally never take any vaccine for any reason. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

I would like to find an alternative way around this. I know this will sound really super-paranoid, but, well I just don't trust the government, I mean, I know there are good people there with good intentions, but I think half of them don't even know what the other half is doing. I mean, imagine if they decided to give the vaccine to us and THAT would be the testing done on the vaccine. I don't put anything past them. Look at Desert Storm, look at Vietnam which was not even that long ago. ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |
