Does anyone know any good remedies? my fathers blood pressure has sky rocketed as he is worrying himself about so many things. Nothing I have tried (meditation, diet, exercise) has worked as he is and always has been a worry wart. I love my dad very much and they are threatening to put him into hospital if it doesnt improve. He is also taking medications. Can anyone offer some insight??

There's good evidence to suggest that high blood pressure is related to a calcium deficiency. While it may not be caused by this, there is a strong correlation. Calcium/magnesium supplements can significantly lower blood pressure for some people. It certainly can't hurt to try. The ratio needs to be 2:1 for maximum absorption. Get him on 2,000 mg of calcium and 1,000 mg of magnesium daily. NEVER take magnesium after a meal. It neutralizes stomach acid. Best to take these particular supplements right before bed (on an empty stomach). They will induce a very restful sleep also. After his blood pressure drops to normal, he can go down to 1,000 calcium and 500 magnesium a day. It might take a month or so to work.

I was going to give a brief expanation, but I think you need more than that, so I found a site with good information. I recommend CoQ10 to all my clients with high blood pressure. Good luck!

Raw garlic, potassium and cayenne pepper also lower blood pressure.
